I would think that local charities would be happy to help the baby out with non-cash donations (formula, diapers, clothes). You're friend isn't talking to the right people.

The best thing that could happen to that kid is if he gets picked up by social services and the mom OD's

Maybe some of you should donate some formula??? That's better than sending cash to an unknown person/destination........ BTW, I have donated formula.

Does anyone know who the father of this child is? Perhaps he should be involved in taking care of the needs of this baby.

Also, are you saying that the Great-grandparents are sharing responsibility for taking care of the baby? This family reproduces as teenagers as a rule?

Contact me and I'll send you something that looks juts like shard, and will send the meth addicts to exactly where they belong.

Im trying to be a good samaritan, not murder someone. Btw what is this shard?

Shard is slang for crystal meth. And I never said they belong in Hell, even though they do. I was reffering to 5-Methoxy Dimethyltryptamine. It is smoked in a similar method, and the effects to an unsuspecting person would be horrofying. The hallucinations are EXTREME. It's the closest you can come to death without dying.... And perfectlly safe toxicologically.

The idea being to make them scared of anything druglike. They would probably never touch a dope pipe again.

I commend you for your effort here, more of us should be as concerned and be willing to do something about it, but the best thing that can happen here is getting social services involved. sure, formula would help but if they can't feed the child they probably can't provide the other needs as well.

personally i could care less about the adults involved, particularly the "mother" but the child deserves a chance at a normal life.

Similac (makers of isomil) will usually send samples and decent (as in dollar(s) off) coupons if you sign up for their "club". It's another avenue for getting free/discounted stuff, and it sounds like you need it.

bump, if there's anything I can do/send, PM me. :(

edit: I can't believe what was on Primetime Live last night (guy & his g/f on crystal meth died of hypothermia / extreme cold because they were hallucinating and didn't know where they were) and then this?!!? I can't believe how bad the drug problems are getting in US and Canadian cities. :(
