Getting down to it, Carly would be their best gamble.
Carly does have a past i.e. her term at HP, but I think people can get past that.
What Carly would and could do is exactly what Hillary is going to do, campaign as the first woman to be elected president.
This is going to be Hillary's advantage.
And where that advantage could be defused would be from Carly going up against Hillary.
Strip away Hillary's "woman" advantage.
And I'd bet Carly could win over Hillary in the end simply because I believe more voters would prefer the first woman elected president would be republican rather than democrat.
A republican woman just "feels" stronger and more capable running the nation than a democrat of the same gender.
And this despite Hillary's qualifications.

Hillary has a past, Carly equally has a past. But....
Carly is younger, promotes herself better, and I would think more desirable as a leader.
And Carly would also break that glass ceiling Hillary talks about so much.

Lets face it, Americans LOVE to make history and to take part in making history.
This is Hillary's huge advantage in this election.
Exactly as Obama took advantage of his minority status during the 2008 election, Hillary absolutely will do exactly the same when the time comes and when the going gets tough.
This is her trump card she is holding onto, ready to play when needed.
Carly would defuse that advantage Hillary holds and for Hillary that would be a devastating blow for her chances.

None of the other republicans have a chance against Hillary, one on one.
Lets face it. When it comes to the republicans running, every one of them except for Jeb is a crap shoot. Jeb is full on establishment, he is the exception and everyone knows what they are getting with Jeb, which this time no one is buying into.

So, as far as the crap shoot goes, Carly would be their best bet against Hillary.
If the woman factor is removed from the equation, Hillary takes the loss and Carly assumes all the advantage.

Really, unless republicans would be just fine with Hillary as president, and who knows maybe they would if truth be told, but in all reality Carly levels the playing field. The first woman president factor.
Do not underestimate Americans love for making history. And taking part in that.
Something Hillary knows all too well will get her elected.

Cruz missile!

And think you CNBS for showing your true comic book-like performance tonight. The candidates came together and showed the voters that Clinton's super pac is indeed the MSM.

From the bottom of my conservative heart I thank you for ensuring a Republican wins the election. :D

I'll post this not because I think mouth breathers like Connor will read it but for others who will appreciate just how stupid Cruz's rant was.

I've paid into Medicare and Social Security my entire, 40 year working life.

But the program I have paid into is insolvent.

Yeah! Government!

-John

Correction you've paid into the social promise. Neither of them are savings accounts. BTW neither of them is that insolvent that minor changes can't fix.

I was being rhetorical. I would indeed put money on an asshole Col Sanders or Hitlery win, because quit frankly the people lost their fucking minds. But you never know. Maybe the people who put in a Republican majority Congress don't have their head up their ass and will vote for a real candidate that's not propped up by the MSM. Not someone who they see in magazines and newspapers. Perhaps this time common sense will prevail. I stopped predicting elections when I was damn sure Romney would win in 2012. Not since FDR did an incumbent President win reelection with an economy this bad. Here we have fuck up after rank fuck up with with this man and the tip off from the jump should have been his surrounding him self with shady characters. Like Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers. Hope & change he says. What a bunch of shit! Yet the stupid ass people voted that bastard in for another term. It's mind boggling.

This is an election about morality. And quit frankly if Col Sanders the blowhard socialist or lying bitch Hitlery makes it into the Whitehouse, this country has lost all morals.

So far a computer has predicted a Republican win. I hope it's Ben Carson. Eat that race card you dick head Liberals! OH!

I'm not sure who won, but I know who lost and that would be CNBC.

War has been declared on the media. It's long overdue. It's actually pretty damned encouraging to see the media being called out for the highly biased nincompoops that they've become.

"Winners score points and win. Losers complain about the referee."

Greatest debate ever? No, but the whole field is a mess and there is no fixing it.

Please, I'd love to hear how these tax plans are going to work and how many hundreds of billions (or Carson & Cruz, trillions) are going to be added to the deficit.

I did the same thing but switched to the debate during commercials. Holy fuck...those moderators were horrible!

If the moderators sucked, the candidates sucked worse. The only reason left to vote Republican is blind brand loyalty.

With some luck, the eventual nominee will drag down some Senators, Reps & statehouses with them.

People who work in tech, what are your feelings about increasing H-1B visas?

While I'm not directly impacted I say F'em. I'd be kind of ok with them if every H1B hire had a tax penalty and was audited to be a real need occasionally. I'd like H1B employers to pay into an education fund too if we need foreign workers with skills we don't have. I currently feel that H1B employees are essentially under paid for their qualifications that's why citizens don't take those jobs.

Incredibly against it.

It is being used solely for the purpose of lowering wages. It is NOT in the best interest of our economy, jobs market, etc...

I wonder what the liberals think since they are oh so in favor of border hopers that mow lawns and clean shit. What happens when the border hoppers are flying here and taking their jobs for half-pay?

Carson gaffed. He clearly stated that he had nothing to do with his picture being on the Mannatech front page, and made other similar claims about not having anything to do with the company. Then he admits he uses their products? I do commend him for standing by what he thinks is a good product though. He is a doctor, and he thinks their products actually helped save his life. So why claim he had nothing to do with them? Being paid more money than most people make in a year to give speeches for that company is clearly having a relationship with that company. Absolutely clearly.

Does anybody remember anything he said tonight?

Bush said a few good things. But then again both Bushes before him said a few good things too. The problem is that they say these wonderful things then they get into office and they explode the deficit, expand entitlements, and go to war.
