Jeb is sinking, but republicans like liars so Carson will do well.

This statement is gold, considering Hillary is running for president and democrats like liars too. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

I just have to say this. With all the utter shit in this thread, now would be a good time to present my book that describes this. The book comes out this December, entitled The Liberal Psyche and Quantum Fecal Theory. It's a case study on how Liberal politicians think and their sheep followers. Book is published by I made this up publishing company and will be available at all Knight and Noble book stores nation wide.

Are you saying that the CNN debate moderation was good or bad with this post? He asked a question and they answered it...

This is because it fits the poster's convoluted bull shit narrative. I mean just by watching the first two blow hards right away I'm taken aback by the sheer far-left stupidity. You have one blow hard talk about carbon dioxide. Which makes me want to take duct tape to his mouth and say, "There! Carbon dioxide problem solved." Then the other bat shit crazy far-left nut talks shit about the NRA. Sure pal, undermine the 2nd Amendment. Now Hitlery on the other hand, she's smart. Knows how to phrase things just right to look appealing. It's like the age old magicians secret: slight of hand. But she combines that with a well refined years worth of con artist experience. Obozo has this same exact trait. As indicative with the massive sheep turn out in '08. He became quit frankly a cult of personality. One perfect example was in Alaska a few months back. He renamed Mount McKinley to Denali saying look over here while I preach "Global warming/climate change BS in America's back yard.

These people are pros. Just like so many other cult of personalities before them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xxgRUyzgs0

The RNC took over the debates after the disaster of 2012, blaming the librul media for the mess they were. Well, it's 2016 and the RNC is running the show so how's it going? Disastrously! Who is the RNC blaming for the fail? Once again, it's the librul media! It seems that no matter the disaster, it's always the librul media who causes it for them. They never fail, everyone else fails them! Nutpicking comments on winger sites, I'm seeing quite a few comments where people are also blaming the librul media for the overabundance of Republican candidates. It seems that the librul media somehow entices Republican candidates who don't stand a chance of winning to go ahead and run anyway, drawing support and money away from the "serious candidates". It's all a plot to weaken the Republican party! For some reason I thought they did it to pump up their political egos, bank accounts and speaking fees and all along it has been an evil librul media plot!

Being a conservative means you are never wrong about anything and if anything bad happens it's because some librul somewhere caused it to happen.

One last funny note about the last debate is that it seems that Christie and Paul were given green rooms that had toilets as the main 'fixtures' in them. Trump and Rubio got nice rooms, Fiorina got one with a hot tub. I think the toilet is a bit small for Christie to soak in. I could just see them walking along and assigning the green rooms...

"Paul can go in the first stall... Christie can have the handicapped stall to give him some breathing room... It's a good thing Larry Craig isn't running or we would have had to put him between Christie and Paul!"

I bet the librul media set that up too!

Rabble, rabble, rabble

Another Republican Revolution is coming

http://money.cnn.com/2015/10/29/media/gop-debate-revolt/index.html

And the RNC is not invited.

Admittedly the last debate was another disaster. I think there should be a bigger format change 10 on stage at once is just too many. They should either weed out the losers or have multiple smaller like 4 candidates that they assign randomly or rotate them.

My thoughts on the overall debate format:

My only defense to the republican candidates, is often times their time allotted to respond was simply not enough. Most of the times they were told to stop talking after ~20 seconds, which barely started to introduce their point. The democrat debate was much more generous with time, and I thought that was better overall.

That said, in relation to my first point there was way too much rambling and talking over each other. Moderators need a feature to mute people's mics to get them to stfu if necessary - but thats under the idea that the moderators aren't retarded in general.

What the hell is wrong with the RNC/networks? Doesn't take a genius to figure out, break debates up into two groups. Each person would have more time. Problem is RNC has said it gets worse for their candidates the longer they talk.

Candidates bitching about the "gotcha" question.

Can anyone define what is a "gotcha" question?

Something Sarah Palin used to ramble about like it made sense.

Trying to trick bag someone I guess, being trolled etc.

Sarah apparently didn't know what trolls where at the time, or that would be a political catchphrase these days.

Its more about the phrasing of the question like the flat tax Carson liked. I don't remember exactly how it was asked but it was worded like this can't work. A better way is to ask them to explain how a radical tax cut would work then follow up with how much will be added to deficit and/or what budget cuts will be made to cover the difference.

This is the question/answer sequence you reference:
QUICK: You have a flat tax plan of 10 percent flat taxes. This is something that is very appealing to a lot of voters, but I've had a really tough time trying to make the math work on this. If you were to take a 10 percent tax, with the numbers right now in total personal income, you're gonna bring in $1.5 trillion. That is less than half of what we bring in right now. And by the way, it's gonna leave us in a $2 trillion hole. So what analysis got you to the point where you think this will work?

CARSON: The rate — the rate — the rate is gonna be much closer to 15 percent.

QUICK: 15 percent still leaves you with a $1.1 trillion hole.

CARSON: You also have to get rid of all the deductions and all the loopholes. You also have to some strategically cutting in several places.
Remember, we have 645 federal agencies and sub-agencies. Anybody who tells me that we need every penny and every one of those is in a fantasy world. (And Carson is wrong about the fed. agency count; it's not 645 but 438 per the Federal Register: https://www.federalregister.gov/agencies )

So, also, we can stimulate the economy. That's gonna be the real growth engine. Stimulating the economy — because it's tethered down right now with so many regulations...

QUICK: You'd have to cut — you'd have to cut government about 40 percent to make it work with a $1.1 trillion hole.

CARSON: That's not true.

QUICK: That is true, I looked at the numbers.

CARSON: When — when we put all the facts down, you'll be able to see that it's not true, it works out very well.

So, basically the GOP is mad at CNBC because their moderator told Ben Carson that he sucked at math?

Bah... I haven't seen a politician run for Federal office in the past 30 years who wasn't bad at math. They all seem to think that they can lower taxes (Republicans for the wealthy/businesses, Democrats for the poor/middle class), increase spending (Republicans on defense spending, Democrats on social programs), and still somehow lower the deficit.

They all say that they're going to do it by "cutting waste", but the government just keeps growing in size. Hell, Bush #2 and his "Department Of Homeland Security" changes probably caused the government payroll to grow more during his tenure than it has under Obama.

There was is this a comic book campaign to Trump.

No more NBC hosted debates. Essentially "Screw you guys we're going home". Can't say I blame them for wanting more control.

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...nbc-for-february-debate/ar-BBmCXkr?li=AAa0dzB

Hahahah, we didn't like having actual questions, we are going home. Poor babies, they just want to be president, they don't want to answer difficult questions.

A gotcha question is simply a question someone doesn't have a prepared talking point for. It requires thinking on their feet, and has the Republicans have shown, none of them are even remotely capable of it.

Well, reporters do tend to ask gotya questions as it's good for ratings to have the thing devolve into a heated situation rather than the boring, less ratings friendly, sober approach.

Still, the repubs are looking to hamstring the moderators in future debates and it would not shock me at all if they demand the moderators throw up questions about the dems that they can run with.

Cry babies!
