It's a particular possibility, but the car is a tool with many "purposes" - as is the gun.

WHOOPSIE.

Yeah my Glock is protected by the constitution.

Gas wasting SUVs are not protected.

Owning a firearm does not mean that one is obsessed with violence.

What does owning an AK-47 and fourteen magazines tell you about that person?

Like you really need a rifle as powerful as an AK-47 to say that.

AK47 isn't a powerful rifle. there are deer rifles that FAR outpower it. the AK is nothing more than a fun, cheap shooter for punching paper or hunting medium game. the ballistics are slightly worse than the winchester 30-30

It tells me that he enjoys shooting. Range time cost money, so go with the mags loaded and you get in more shooting time.

Why does a single person need more than one fork, one spoon, one glass, etc.

Once again, the things I collect aren't meant to hurt others. If your hobby is to buy a gun and go to the rifle range and take some shots at bullseyes, that's fine. Not much practical use in that, but hey, it's a hobby and it isn't meant to be practical. Shooting live ammo doesn't have anything to do with that hobby. However, if you own a gun, and shoot it pretending you're hitting some intruder, or if you feel powerful while shooting a gun, as if you are invincible, while thinking "just try to f*ck with me, and you'll see what happens", then there's something wrong with that.

It's the latter mindset that I feel is prevalent with gunowners. Posting pictures of their guns and magazines online, so they can share their proud weapons with others, falls into that mindset.

What else are you going to shoot at the range, but live ammo?

Now that is just Bull$hit. You can't tell someones mindset because they post pictures of thier hobby on the internet. I like to collect Guns and Knives and to share pictures and info with other people who like the same things like any other hobby.

you have a suggestion perhaps? What would YOU put in a gun for target practice, that wouldn't kill a person? What do they fire BESIDES bullets, that's much safer?

let me dust off the old crystal ball and predict your answer: "I don't know, I don't shoot things meant to kill people."

I hate to break it to you, but the attitude of "I'm a tough guy. Just try to f*ck with me, and you'll see what happens" is prevalent in ALL human competition. It's prevalent in all non-human competition. It's encoded in our DNA, built up through eons of harsh, brutal, bloody fighting for survival. It's very possible to be in touch with this side of one's being, and still carry on a normal life in a civilized society. In fact, it gives you a good degree of confidence to compete in at least SOMETHING.

Don't get me wrong, some people do cross the line from "firearm enthusiasts" to "gun nuts." But the day we shirk everything that smacks of competition, survival, or fitness, marks the sunset of us as a species.

But sweet gun anyway. I like savoyboy's, it looks like an AK should look :D :D

OP - epenis + 10 feet.

a rabbit is a small animal. if you shoot a rabbit with anyhthing larger than a .30 carbine(even with that round) is going to do serious tissue damage.

heh considering i would use a .22 pellet gun to hunt rabbits and it would do some damage i would really hate to see what a more powerfull weapon does to the poor rabbit.

Sigh now if i could find a good .22 to kill cans/paper with i would be happy. someone sale me a good one cheap!
