That had nothing to do with it. Not being part of the group in the comic book, she is obviously inconsequential to the story, so of course she was one they intended to kill off eventually. That's the way it works. Can't kill off a main character yet but need to kill someone that viewers care about? Add extra characters, pump, and dump.

Of course, it had nothing to do with it. But, people who are looking for issues, will find them. Beth's story had come to an end. She was finished as far as development went. I just thought it was funny people are trying to use some idiotic ideas to "bring back" a character. They can't just bring her back, unless she is a zombie!

I wouldn't say a character not in the comics is inconsequential to the story though. Look at Daryl.

I didn't say that they can't be a part of any new story (especially their own story), just that they are ultimately inconsequential to THE story (pre-existing, of course).

They had everything from the The Shane/Rick/Lori love triangle
to the farmhouse to the prison
to the birth of Judith to Woodbury
to Michonne's appearance
to Tyresse's hammering his way out of trouble
to the fall of the prison
to the deranged kid dilemma
to their encounter with cannibals
to the wussy priest
to Abraham and Eugene's mission...
...and the only thing Daryl has really changed is Judith's name (Little Asskicker). The nickname, too, is obviously inconsequential to where the story is going if it continues to go where the comics ultimately go.

Hmm, so only about 10 days until the show is back. I watched the bad lip readings last night to get ready.

Cluck goes the chicken.

Ok, what was the deal with all of the weird ass character flashbacks?

Is the show trying to get artsy now? They should save that for Better Call Saul.

he deserved to die if he was gonna clear a house like a noob. Staring at fucking pictures....

Inevitably they run out of money mid season after they gutted the budgets

I feel like Zombie movies are one of the most depressing Horror genres ever!

Think about it. It is a daily constant struggle to keep alive and one has to worry about other evil humans plus dead zombies as well. You are always paranoid and scared and on the move. It is a world wide problem and where the hell is exactly safe?

Zombie movies get me so depressed🙁

Out of all other horror genres I actually feel sorry for the zombie apocalypse survivors the most.

Anyone else feel the same way?

I missed a few from last season can someone explain the cut in half bodies and the car loaded with heads?

Probably should use spoiler tags.

Nothing that I recall from last season points to the heads or the "cut in half" bodies. My guess is that we're going to meet a new foe soon. The radio that played throughout the show mentioned things like rebels, cannibalism, etc, so that might be foreshadowing.

40 minutes to kill one character. That was like 5 minutes of plot stretched into an entire episode with loads of bs. Probably my least favorite episode ever.

The only interesting thing was the bodies in the truck. Not sure if anyone was awake to notice but they all had W carved in their forehead. In the town there was something painted about "wolves are near" . Must be some kind of crazy group that attacked.

At first I thought the radio transmissions were real, but then I wasn't sure. It mentioned villages at one point which made me think it was him remembering stuff from his past again. Maybe some news broadcast his farther made him listen to or watch. Maybe and event where rebels were killing villagers in Africa or something. He did say his farther made him watch stuff on the news. If it was real, how come Rick or no one ever mentioned it. I guess we will find out later.

What was up with the picture of the house that the blood dripped on? I didn't recognize the house, but they seemed to show it a lot.

I wasn't that crazy about the episode, but I am curious about who attacked that group and what is up with chopping up the walkers and putting a "W" on their head.
