Just try 1600/800 and see what happens with your looser timings. You will be 1:1 and it will get you to 3600MHz. Try to put you FSB/Mem speed, CPU speed, timings and voltages in your sig so we can see them, like everyone else has
Can't seem to get there.. I keep cranking everything up to try and reach it. See sig for updates

Raise you memory volts to 2.17 Drop the NB to 1.56 vcore 1.35. your going to overheat with voltages set that high and try a 7 multiplier if the above doesn,t work

did you put any cooling solution on the NB chipset or SB?
you are going to seriously damage your mobo if you dont calm down with the voltages IMO

Tried it with no luck. When I changed my multiplier to 7 my bios wouldn't post and I had to reset the cmos.

I have a upgraded fan cooling solutions on both the NB & SB. Plus I cranked all my fans in my case to high. I only tried those settings for a short time to see if I could hit 800/1600.
I'm currently running at 750/1500 with everything dialed back vcore 1.3 NB 1.39.
I would like to get my mem back to 800 but then I wouldn't be at 1:1 and when I changed my multiplier I got no where???

Did you get any sleep last night
nah, he probably had 3 instances of super-pi going and some cpu-z justwatching the pretty numbers like me![]()
Hey, Did you ever do that pencil mod
not yet. i'm not really sure what my vdimm is so i'd rather not mess with it yet. vcore if i use the +100mv option i have 1.60 including vdroop. should be plenty for me right now.
Do you find your CPU temps skyrocketing when you add the +100mv option, then with out it

On that pencil mod it gave you the location to find your vdimm voltage

I put back my battery and it boots again. Customize my BIOS and reboot. Problem solved."

You can set your ram to 800. 1420/800 should work just not 1:1

Yup I'm using the black slots. I tried JonDoms settings and just can't get windows to boot up @ 1600/800.. I can get to around 1580/775 but I really have to start cranking out the voltage. I can run 1500/750 @ stock voltage with the exception of my NB 1.39. So am I now running my Memory at slower speeds than stock? I can change it to 1500/800 but like I said I don't understand the importance of the 1:1 ratio and how to optimize my FSB/MEM to run my system the fastest. Here's my CPU-Z & Speedfan

i am calling zipzoomfly and asking for an exception to the return for same product only rule for this as nVidia is selling a clearly deficient chipset.
i am going with intel p965. it is a damn shame that nVidia has such a major defect on such a common function of the motherboard.
