Well, shit me. Here's a new one. Some years back, one of my customers, (85y.o.) got married to a 90 y.o. guy...anywho, he died. Having a conversation with one of my other long time peeps and she tells me that my customer is her grandmother's sister...and the uncles claims that she has a "white liver."

White liver refers to a condition characterized by sexual excess and a wasting to death of sexual partners.

My 85 y.o. customer had 4 husbands.
lol wtf

Yup, TZ had great, great writing, Rod Serling wrote a lot of the episodes himself, one of my fav's was "The monsters are due on Maple street".

I'll give this place credit for having good taste in Twilight Zone episodes. Eye of the Beholder and The Monsters are Due on Maple Street are among the best. I also really loved The Invaders, no spoken dialogue and a twist ending better than anything M. Night Shyamalan could possibly dream up. And Time Enough at Last. And Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up? And To Serve Man. And freak it, now I have to go back and re-watch all of them.

TwilightZone is my all time favorite show. I think I like Passage For Trumpet best, but they're all first rate.

There was one where the guy was a book nerd and caught grief. The world comes to an end and he can read all he wants....until he steps on his glasses.

Man, that was some years ago. Surprised that's even still in my brain.

Guys applies for a loan, ask what bills/debts he has. "Well, I gotta pay for my ankle monitor every month." Look him up on the county court site. Among other charges, pending murder from 2018. Yeah....nope.

had something similar from a wireless company I worked for. Guy wanted multiple business line. Small company no credit hit.
analyst asks for utility bills to prove it is a business.
dude submits a letter from the landlord of his business saying he is 90 days past due and water bill for his home which actually turned out to be a note from the water commissioner saying his payments are so past due he has two choices
send a crew out to disconnect his water or put a lean on the property.

dumb-dumbs are everywhere

Brought rebar to a gun fight....:(

4 peeps playing video games and smoking pot. 1 decides the other guy needs killing. The other 2 help move the body. That's the extent of our podunk news coverage.

This guy is not the shooter but the hand of 1 = the hand of all. The shooter has had 2 mistrials already. Turned out that a friend of the family was on the 1st jury. Don't know about the 2nd.

I mean, it's SC--so pretty much assume everyone else is family, right?
