Aside from Moonbeam it was just the usual morons that bought his gospel before he ever preached it (hell I think many of them don't even know of his previous work, they just got turned onto him because of his "think of the plight of these poor persecuted young white males!!!" that they jumped onto because of Gamergate and other stupid bullshit). And the only reason Moonbeam bought in is because the guy's original claim to fame was taking ideas that had been discussed for a long time and supposedly made them more palatable to normal people (which I think is what Moonbeam feels is going on with him, that he's on some next level wavelength but he's unable to speak in ways that normal people understand what he's babbling about, and he feels like that guy managed to do it by coalescing such thoughts into phrasing that speaks to him; the reality is there wasn't anything new or particularly profound about it, and the real interesting part was applying it to specifics like seeing similarities between how religions have formed and how that applies to much more including politics and nowadays even brands - hell I don't think he even was the first person to talk about myth making and how you can do that at any time and that its basically always occurring).
