how many activision wii games are there?

Checked Toys 'R Us website, looks like Rapala Tournament Fishing, Tony Hawk, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and CoD 3. Too bad I already have CoD 3. I might consider getting Ultimate Alliance and Tony Hawk though.

CoD3 is the only one i might consider but i've been putting it off because of bad reviews

My blood pressure rises just thinking of that stupid game.
Best review ever.

I've always admired his ability to combine profanity in creative ways.

On a side note, his parents must be so proud.

Just did 30 minutes in COD. Other than my forearm now being numb, was an interesting shooter with the wii controls.

I don't see what's so bad. But then again, I never played any of the COD's yet. The bounding box is definitely a hair too small though, but you learn to work with it. It has been entertaining for me at least. Worth it for deals like this (assuming you also like any of the other games). On it's own, not so much for me because I still prefer my mouse and keyboard.

see, thats whats troubling me. i loved the previous 2 CoD games on the PC but i;ve heard there are lots of control issues with the remote. i'm not worried about the graphics so much as the controls. i dunno. i haven't touched my wii in weeks, if not longer. they need more and better games. there are a few out now that kind of pique my interest but without playing them 1st, i'm hesistant to buy.

Yeah, I bit the bullet on some of them like sonic and SSX. Neither of which I regret. Altho, sonic is a bit annoying as I have some skills I have no idea how to use. And the music is horrible. But it's still fun for me.

One thing though, there isn't much out there now with some real replay value. Granted, I have plenty to finish still, I just don't have the time. And I made the mistake of starting FFIII on the DS and that is taking up all my gaming time right now.. hahaha

Sorry if this has been asked. BUT does monoprice cary a cable for the Wii? we just got a (small) LCD tv for my office (37 inch viso). would like to hook it up with a good connection.

don't want to pay $60 for a darn thing at walmart. is there a cheap one at monoprice?

lol, 37" is small?

well. smaller then i plan to get for the living room!

but got the cables today. hooked it up to the LCD> it looks good. got tiger woods also. it looks pretty good

You think so? It's pretty grainy to me, but that's ok. Gameplay makes up for it.

wario ware looks good on my 42" LCD!

zelda i really had a hard time starting off the first hour, it was pretty boring and graphics are blah. i finally got my sword so things are starting to pick up

I'm looking for impressions as well. It looks damn cool. I probably won't be able to get it until the middle of summer after school is up, I've moved, and my summer research is rolling along.

Finally got my hands on a Wii recently and picked up Twilight Princess to go with it. Having fun so far. The fishing is a blast w/the Wiimote. I think sword fighting is more of a pain in the butt w/the Wiimote, but not really a big issue. At least you don't have to do full blown swings, I just kind of twitch the remote side to side and it seems to work well enough. I agree that graphics are kind of meh, but they aren't horrible either on my 720p LCD TV w/component hookups. Higher resolution textures and a bit of AA would've gone a long way IMO (I'm assuming the graphics were basically designed for the cube and little/no tweaking was done to them for the transition to Wii).

SSB: Melee looks awesome at 480p. Big improvement over 480i on the GC.

Mainly bought it for SSB: Brawl, but will probably pick up the occasional 1st party game. So far I'm pretty pleased. Was luckily able to find it on eBay for retail.

I think it looks pretty good, but I'm holding off for a while. I have enough games for now.

But I think Paper Mario is a good example of why the Wii doesn't deserve to be dismissed as having poor graphics. The graphics look great! Graphics don't have to be 3D and realistic to be good. The upcoming Wii DDR game is another example - they used cel-shaded graphics, probably because they look better at lower resolutions, and I think it looks pretty cool.

So yah ... Super Paper Mario is freaking sweet!

One thing you need to be wwarned about ... there seems to be a lot of text and you can't skip over it. But it's easy and fun reading. Like you literally are "watching" the game for about 20 minutes before you actually start playing it. I started it at 9:30pm last night and I barely "played" anything before I turned it off for the Shield at 10pm.

However what I've played so far is a lot of fun! I'm on level 1-4 right now and there hasn't been too much text in between the actual missions. But it's definitely a lot more action/platformer than it is an RPG game. The flipping between 2d/3d worlds is pretty damn cool and you will want to do it just to see what's in the 3D world to find hidden stuff.

If you are into Mario, I strongly recommend this game. It's my favorite mario game since probably Mario 64 (New Super Mario Bros on DS was good too, but it was just too damn easy/short).

Maybe in a year or something I'll play it again...

i dunno, i still haven't finished Zelda. I'm inside the mountain after you Sumo wrestle the thing to get inside. The story just doesn't seem that great to me. I don't feel anything for the characters. Link has no personality at all. He doesn't even talk!

I got to the first temple in Zelda and haven't played it since early December. I agree, the game just didn't suck me in and Link is a boring character. Also the whole part controlling the wolf turned me off.

So far, Super Paper Mario has sucked me into the game VERY quickly and I'm loving it. All I want to do right now at work is go home and play it :)
