its a FPS MMO basically, its scifi and shares some of the artwork, i really wish it was on PC

I think I remember reading an article where Bungie said they would consider putting it on the PC. I don't know if that's just their attempt to placate the PC Gaming Master Race from revolting, or if they're serious. 😛

is this their last game to show?

so they showed us a buncha rpgs, destiny, some indie games that look like ps2 games, and a buncha multiplatform games?

sorry sony, but i won't be purchasing a ps4 at this point, not at launch. i hope their slam on ms though makes ms go back and rethink their decision. remember in their press release they said that they can change their policy at any time.

Lol, this guy thinks MS is going to change. They literally built the system and software around these features.

As for the games. While they haven't blown me away yet, I am very happy that 90% of the games showed around 1/3rd person shooters. Until now we only saw one RPG (DA3).

wow..I must say that Sony just sold me a PS4. Mind you I'm no fanboy, I currently own a ps3 and a 360 but the press conference actually showed some new and exciting material. I like the design / look of the console, and I'm loving the fact that Sony ditched the used game / call home DRM BS....

It's crazy to see how Sony and M$ have flipped with the next gen. M$ is abandoning what put the 360 on the map, and that's the hardcore gamers...sad!

OK let's get soemthing straight. M$ was NEVER about hardcore gamers.

I think it's up to Activision to do it or not.

Bungie originally envisioned Halo this way. A persistent online action game.

You seriously didn't expect it to be free forever? Those servers cost money to run haha. And also, smaller games don't have as many dedicated servers or as good of dedicated servers. So making sure Sony can manage that for them is definitely a +.
Expect an increase in the quality of multiplayer games online, which was a complain of a number of people in the past when comparing both consoles.

I don't understand how some people can't comprehend simple things like text on a screen. It's there, plain and simple, no inference to be had, no way to be confused on what I said since there's no voice tone behind it, no expression; just a simple two sentence statement that offers nothing than what I stated:

"PS4 requires PS+ for MP. They're on par with MSFT now with that it seems like."

Do you want to know exactly what I meant? Let me break it down:

1. The PS4 requires PS+ for MP now.
2. They're on par with MSFT now with that is seems like.

Does that make it clearer for you?

Also remember. Every game MS announced that did not specifically state "Xbone only" is PS4 title too.

I'm really liking the Sony side of things and could see me trying to get one at launch, but I'm also torn because I know I'll like the xbox controller so much more.

Also, boom $399
