How many games have you seen "made more accessible" have actually made the game better for people that don't understand how their fingers work in relation to their eyes AND retained the quality of game before it?

Seriously, SF4 is the only one I can think of. And all they did was add input shortcuts. Sure, the hardcore community hates the non strict inputs now, but it doesn't actually hinder them from playing. Your random ultra doesn't get any less random because it was harder for you to input.


On a more PS4 note: has anyone held the controller? If so, does it have any weight to it? I hate the DS3 (and DS2, DS1, and original PS controller) because they feel so cheap and flimsy. Xbox has done a great job with their controllers actually having weight to them (except for the wired 360 controllers, I hate them too).
 
I read on IGN that during EA's quarterly fiscal report, they mentioned that Titanfall will be exclusive to the XBOX One, 360 and PC for its "lifetime." So... no holding out for a PS4 release!

I don't think it will matter because it will be competing with destiny whenever it releases. Not to mention expansions to battlefield and cod inevitably. I don't feel titanfall will have nearly the same impact being released in the spring.

I posted my comments on the controller a couple pages back when I picked mine up last night. To answer your question directly it is lighter than the 360 controller, heavier than the ds3, and more comfortable in my hands than both.

I really like it, and from my usage with it on the PC I can see myself playing long hours and not noticing.

Checked best buy and gamestop and they both say will be available for ps4 on 11/12.

And watchdogs now says 6/30/2014..wtf

Edit works for me. Weird...kill zone I can pick up today if I want lol.

6/30 may be another placeholder. End of spring (assumed spring release date).
 
Well I'm off on the 15th so I may check my target ad locally and try to go over there in the morning.

That sucks I was really looking forward to watchdogs. Pretty much everyone said it would be out on or near release date of the ps4. If I can get a game and bf4 at target I'll cancel the best buy pre order for bf4 and pick up ghosts with the system there. Maybe even cancel the watchdogs pre order if it really is coming in spring. I'll just pre order it later.
 
I wonder if I could just buy Knack and two copies of Killzone, and just sell the other copy of Killzone to help pay for the other two games. I just don't have any other games that I want.

In the picture of the add it says only 1 copy of a game is allowed.
 
I could end up sick that day...I haven't been feeling my best lol. If we aren't busy at work I'll see if I can snag one day and try for it. If we get the new press up to speed I'll be hopping trying to get plates lined up.

There aren't many I'm interested in either. I wonder if knack, bf4, ac, killzone , fifa are the only choices. If I could get bf4, cod ghosts and knack all at target then I wouldn't need to go to best buy that day, only to pick up the system. Watchdogs had me excited.

Knack and Killzone are the only ones I'd want besides Watchdogs.. Not sure if I'll return my Killzone copy I picked up to get a couple other games.
 
I was planning to sleep in on the 15 but looks like I'll have to get there by 8am. I will probably stop by a target near work on my lunch break on the 14th and see if they have anything. Since the add does say from 11th to the 15th but under each game pictured it states available Friday.

Makes you wonder what happened that Ubisoft decides to delay a game weeks before the release. They had a long gameplay video of it too so I hope they really make it quality wise. And to push it all the way to June too. It would be more understandable if it was pushed back say until end of November or middle of December but oh well.

Looks like I may actually have an interest in killzone as a replacement for now.
