Click the mail button on the bottom right, then click whatever button brings up your address book. Address book will come up, showing you the cover for a brief moment, then flipping to page 1. Your number is on the cover. You have about a second to memorize your number and write it down. Just kidding, when it flips you to page one you click the button on the left to go back to the cover, then you can write it down at a leisurely pace. :)

Your supposed to get bee larva for someone? Opps, oh well I like the Forest Temple. And yes some of the puzzles are... confounding.

The only thing I regret about the Wii, is that I did not purchase the extra Wiimote + Nunchuck.

This thing is sold out at all the retailers around me.

I picked up a few extra controllers the first day and Im glad I did. Accessories usually never sell out but this proves how many people are actually playing this thing as opposed to ebaying it.

That and my 50" HDTV can finally show something other than football :)

i didn't have the option to pick up extra remotes on launch day.. they ran out w/ person 68 or something.. i was 72 or 73, can't remember. i found a toysrus that had them late last week (still no nunchucks... but i have no use for them now).

So yah I just hooked up my component cables, and yes, it makes a pretty significant difference in Zelda. It's much crisper and smoother, but now the jaggies are a lot more apparent heh. But it's definitely better than before by a long shot.

Next question ...

Has anyone used the cheapo HDMI cables from monoprice? The $6 or so ones? I'm wondering because I have 3 component items (Xbox360, HD Cable Box, and now the Wii) and my TV only has 2 component inputs. I'm thinking about just getting the HDMI cables for my cable box and then I can use both component inputs for the consoles.

SO has anyone used the cheap HDMI cables from monoprice? I think I'm going to order one tonight or tomorrow for my cable box, but figured I'd ask here.

Funny you asked that. I ordered some today from them because I have the exact same problem you do. I should get the cable by the end of the week and I can let you know how it works.

a digital signal is a digital signal, if it gets there it gets there, if it doesn't it doesn't. I bought cheap dvi cables a while back and have been happy w them...many people use the cheap hdmi cables and are happy. Go for it or get a receiver that does component switching.

Don't know if this has been mentioned already, but I picked up a "Nintendo Wii Launch Guide" for free at Best Buy. Besides being a 26-page long commercial, it has Best Buy coupons:

$5 off Wii/Gamecube - CoD3, Ultimate Alliance, Tony Hawk Project 8
$5 off Elebits
$5 Wii Super Monkey Ball
Free Wii Zelda strategy guide when you buy Wii Zelda & Excite Truck

still haven't been able to find a wii console... I live in the bay area ca. I went to 2 different Targets this evening. They each had a large stock of the Zelda game and some classic controllers. I picked up the game and 2 classic controllers since I haven't seen these items in other stores... I can't wait until the console becomes more available!

Also, can anyone tell me if there is anything special about the Wii sd cards... are they the same as standard sd cards from other manufacturers?

I would of complained to the main manager until they agreed to sell it. As far as I'm concerned, if it's on the floor, it's for sale.

I'm in the same boat... On this thread and other places I'm hoping walmart will release a bunch either 12-3-06 or 12-6-06....
