House intelligence chair says Republicans are ‘absolutely’ repeating Russian propaganda

Mike Turner, the Ohio Republican, echoes a similar claim made recently by another rightwing American lawmaker

“It is absolutely true we see, directly coming from Russia, attempts to mask communications that are anti-Ukraine and pro-Russia messages, some of which we even hear being uttered on the House floor,” the Ohio congressman told CNN’s State of the Union show.

His comments Sunday came days after Michael McCaul, chairman of the House foreign affairs committee, told Puck News that misinformation in favor of Russian interests had found a foothold among his fellow Republicans.

“Russian propaganda has made its way into the United States, unfortunately, and it’s infected a good chunk of my party’s base,” McCaul said to Puck
 
Lol standard fare all Repugnicans are hypocrites. Turner has repeated Russian talking points himself. Can’t recall the situation but it was eye rolling from 1 of the gang of 8

I bet she does not think of herself as a Nazi or a Nazi sympathizer, similar to many white nationalists. I'm pretty sure their logic is that they were brought up to believe the Nazis were bad people, and since she's sure she's not a bad person, therefore she's not a Nazi as opposed to 'do I share a lot of beliefs with the Nazis', which is of course the real standard.

Why is it so hard to believe she could be one? The GOP themselves acknowledged a decade ago that Putin was paying congresscritters.
 
I wonder if maybe she is especially sensitive to micro-plastics in the water? Dumb doesn't seem to entirely fit as an explanation.
