Can't say I saw this coming. Wasn't aware she had any opinions of her own about anything at all. Actually find myself wondering if it's part of some calculated Trump strategy (he hasn't seemed particularly eager to take credit for overturning RvW)?

Likely a Trump attempt to get on both sides of this issue. People are easily fooled. I will change my mind if Melania is asked the question, "what should women do to get back those rights".

Has seemed obvious for years.....

It turns out that "pro-life" conviction was only an inch deep.

What's going on here isn't especially confusing. Prior to Dobbs, calling yourself "pro-life" was a low-cost way for Republican voters to tell a story where they are morally upright heroes while casting feminists, urban liberals, college kids, and racial minorities as oversexed heathens. When abortion is legal, it's easy to condemn other people's abortions as a matter of "convenience" or say they're "using it for birth control" or employ other euphemisms for promiscuity, while quietly believing the abortions you and your friends get are justified.

Most of us knew the "pro-life" people were full of shit. These same people want raped 12 year olds to carry a fetus to term but will deny that same girl food assistance if she does.

Is anything ever more than an inch deep with the guy?

SCOTUS has let the following state rulings stand.

Alabama. Embryoes are people.
Texas. No emergency abortions even when the life of the mother is at risk
Any woman pre-menopause, or any parent of a female child, that has opportunities to seek a job outside of deep-red states, should have already moved or be looking to move out post-haste. Keeping corporate headquarters down there is borderline criminal now.

If you live in Alabama and have a unwanted pregnancy please come to California. We will provide medical care and possibly a free ride if you need it.

I'm happy my tax dollars go to this.

FTFY...cause there are some wackadoodles brainwashed into believing their bodies belong to their husbands, and to god, and that they're not allowed to control their own bodies.

This video is just heart wrenching. I can't believe it's 2024 and we still have people forcing their fucked up beliefs on every citizen.

This is exactly what Republican voters have been voting for since I was born in 1974. They have successfully terrorized our female population into not wanting to have children and then complain about population decline among white people.

Don't know if we are offering transportation, but Washington state has it's doors open to all.
