With all the stunningly dumb shit Vance says and Trump tweeting "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT" it has definitely made me wonder. Making Vegas bets and then throwing the election with plans to vacate to a non-extradition country?
 
You can see the emotion in Lawrence O'Donnell. This was personal for him. He is imagining a young woman, Amber Thurman, now a dead mother to a 6 year old boy, and seeing his own mother's face.

O'Donnell is 100% correct, Amber Thurman's blood is on the hands of Bush, Trump, and all those republicans who worked to overturn Roe v. Wade. And this isn't the only death. There were others, and there will be more.

Oprah and Harris had a town hall with the families of 2 women in GA who died due to lack of treatment because of abortion laws. Their families also Hadley Duvall who was sexually abused by a step father and raped at 12 and became pregnant. Lucky for her Roe hadn’t been repealed yet. She starred in a devastating ad against the GOP candidate for Governor allowing the Democrat to win. She is currently in a new ad against Trump and Republicans

Not the fact that Republicans made LIFE SAVING medical procedures ILLEGAL.
Of course they'll argue that those procedures are legal (technically, and in certain circumstances)... while they ignore the massive risk of criminal liability they placed on Doctors, who have to wait and let people suffer and die while going through the extra bureaucracy Republicans created.

The republican base watches Fox news, and worse, OAN. Because Fox is too left for them. Nothing will backfire on the republican politicians. It will be business as usual.

Given the population of Texas is about 9% of the US total, one can infer that a bit under half of the national increase in maternal mortality was solely due to TexAss 56% explosion in murdering pregnant women via healthcare bans.

Texas effectively banned and criminalized abortion care a full year before Roe was overturned, so Texas saw full effect in this study period, but yes expect further increases post Roe due to the rest of MAGAlandia joining in on the “party”

Donald does best when he attacks people. He’s shit at telling people what he’ll do to help make things better. He has no empathy for anyone but himself so he doesn’t understand anyone’s worries and what to say to make them feel better.

He’d be better off just attacking Democrats and any other groups of people that Republicans hate. That resonates with his type of people.

He’s like an attack dog trying to comfort someone by growling, barking, and snarling at them.

This will last about 24-48 hours, until the MAGA state supreme court wakes up and issues a pre-emptive injunction (they may not even bother waiting for an actual formal appeal to land on their docket... as rules and laws are for suckers and losers, not MAGA)

I'm glad someone is trying to look out for the general citizens, and especially the women, that reside in the United States.

On the flip side, it's damn horrifying that we have to treat some states as if they were a foreign country, where women have no rights.
