After the iOwa Supreme Court shot down Gov Reynolds "heart-beat" abortion ban, Reynolds called a special secession to push another heart-beat law and pass it and signed it into law. This was last week. Today an iOwa judge blocked the new Reynolds law while challenges to the new law proceed.
Naturally, Reynolds is very pissed.

The same iOwa gov Kim Reynolds who just last year refused a 30 million grant to help the low income with childcare. 30 million lost that would have provided mothers with childcare so they could take a job and work. Reynolds refused that 30 million grant only because... it came from Joe Biden.
And remember that Biden stimulus package? That stimulus that gave low income families with children an additional $300 a month to help weather the Covid storm? To buy food. To help pay for expenses? Well guess what.... Reynolds rejected that $300 too. She claimed IT MADE PEOPLE LAZY thus she pulled the stimulus assistance for those families AND the children.

And THIS is the same Reynolds who thinks she knows best when it comes to a woman's reproductive decisions. FORCE THEM MOTHERS GIVE BIRTH TO THOSE KIDS, JUST REFUSE TO ALLOW THOSE MOTHERS ANY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO RAISE THOSE KIDS.

The really evil, inconceivable thing about those republican governors like Kim Reynolds is THEIR HYPOCRISY. Force those kids to be born, just refuse to feed them afterwards. Or house them. Or school them. Or to healthcare them.

From reading the article, it’s pretty clear that his opinion is really just a thinly-veiled troll of environmental groups suing to stop development/ fossil fuels—but that makes it WORSE! Trolling in bad faith from the federal bench without a care for actual policy implications is the absolute lowest a judge can go.
