I would argue that Harveys was the best burger place but things have gone down hill a bit there since the 80's.Wendy's food is much better than McD. It has less global reach compared to McD.

I snagged that exact deal but they carry Cholula in grocery stores in my area too.
This is my favorite flavor:

I find chipotle a pretty meh flavor in general. It's always better than no hot sauce, but it's my least favorite expression from any brand.

How's it compare to Taco Bell fire sauce?I splurged for Truff recently. Way too expensive for what you get & also way way way over-marketed, but has a pretty decent, mild, complex flavor. I still don't know what to use it on tho. Like, Cholula regular & chili-garlic are a perfect match for eggs, that's exactly the flavor I'm looking for as far as something a little bit spicy at breakfast, but I haven't figured out what Truff excels at. It's pretty good, I just need to find a really stellar application for it. Especially due to the price, lol.

Many folks seem to have difficulty with the simple concept illustrated below for some reason.

My partner cooked at a Thai restaurant for a couple years, the server would adjust the heat level customers ordered if she didn't think they were ready for it. They officially had a scale of 1-5, so if someone ordered a 5 and she didn't think they could take it, she'd knock it down to a 2 when she brought the order back. Occasionally people still complained it was too spicyI always ask for my food "Thai-spicy" when I eat at a Thai restaurant per my friend the food-reviewer.
Apparently this is Thai restaurant secret code for melt-your-face-off spicy. I've had waiters and managers come close to making me sign a release before they would serve my food.

Huh, they re-did theirs too? Might have to give it a go. I didn't care much for McD's quarter pounder before they re-did theirs, and now it's a decent burger.I went to Burger King yesterday for the first time since March. I bought me the new and improved whopper (all natural blah blah blah) and some fries.
That was a damn fine burger. Way better than anything at McDonald's.
I got the chipotle too, it's decent, but has a weird undercurrent that puts me in mind of Spaghetti-Os. Not a good thingFound the chili-garlic version at Ocean State Job Lot, dang this stuff is GOOD! Right up my alley taste-wise, as far as heat/flavor/being mild goes. I tried the Chipotle version as well, but meh. Chili Garlic > Regular > Chipotle. I'll see if I can find the other flavors to compare. I put it on eggs & pork belly this morning, super dope!
I generally prefer chipotle hot sauces, but aim for chipotle habanero mostly.I find chipotle a pretty meh flavor in general. It's always better than no hot sauce, but it's my least favorite expression from any brand.

Their fries have been much worse since they started changing them back in the mid-2000s (I think I recall two overhauls)
I have very limited exposure to commercial campaigns other than what shows up on YouTubeYes, they have been going on about it for over a month now both in the US and Canada. I live in Canada as you may or may not know.
The burger was very good. I haven't tried the "new" 1/4 pounder.
Now if only KFC would step up their game.
This is the new whopper commercial, at the end they mention the changes:I have very limited exposure to commercial campaigns other than what shows up on YouTube![]()

So, I can take or leave mushrooms. But I saw this crunchy seasoned mushroom snack at Costco (never seen a crispy mushroom before!) & because I always try something new whenever I go, I went with this shiitake snack. SO GOOD! As a mushroom eater but not lover, SO GOOD! This would make an AMAZING savory snack mix addition!

Hopefully this doesn't turn into a burger king vs Mcdonalds thread with fighting like what happens in the tech section. Can we all agree that both can give good good performance, and both have applications for different users?
Uh, I mean, both taste good![]()
mcdonald's app just pushed their jingle to alert me to the mcrib being back. no clear option to turn off audio notifications. welcome to no notifications, idiots.

Arby's is close by and pretty good, specially their turkey sandwich's, oddly, I don't like their roast beef very much since it's way overcooked and taste's heavily processed. They do have a good 2 for $6 item list as well. Wendy's is also close and generally good and currently has a great 2 for $5 choices. Fuck McDonald's, it's not that the food is bad it's them running a buy one get another for $1 special then stopping it after 10 days, for example the Wendy's deal is almost 2 full months long now.Well, Arby's is better than all of them, so pffft.
