well its seems pretty simple. I said the type of person that spent 1000 bucks on Titan will not be upset about the 780. and why would that be? because they knew they were buying a card that was going to look silly at some point. so again a card like that is not an investment so the type of person that buys it is not going to be upset when a better value comes out a few months later. but keep arguing for the sake of arguing though. lol
I'm going to wait until the 23rd before making any additional comments on price, but I wouldn't necessarily expect the 780 to make the Titan to look silly. Again, the Titan is for an extreme niche of multi-monitor gamers who want high amounts of VRAM for that purpose. A 3GB 780 will fall on it's face in situations where the Titan may shine. The Titan will allow full MSAA and OGSSAA and SGSSAA while a GTX 780 with 3GB will not even function unless it is using *only* FXAA. That's what the VRAM is for - the best image quality and best settings in multi monitor environments.
Now, if there is anyone out there using a Titan for 1080p single screen I would call THAT silly. Heck, I would even state that a Titan for single WQHD resolution would be silly. You don't need 6GB VRAM for a single screen, that is far beyond overkill. But this isn't my point - the point is, I don't think the GTX 780 will make the Titan look silly.
