1: Iran has been well behaved by comparison to others.
2: I'm all for stopping the Neocon agenda of arming terrorists and bringing "Democracy" to the Middle East.

But when something like ISIS spawns... and we suffer attacks... it does seem proper to put an end to them.

Who is "them"? And how? ISIS has members all over the world, some even in allied countries, some are even citizens of those countries! Should we start attacking those countries as well?

The problem with your rhetoric is that it's not very well thought out.

There's no doubt in my mind that a French life is worth more than a Lebanese life. We have far more in common with the French than we do middle-easterners. And frankly, I don't expect them to care very much about 9/11 or the attack in Paris, just as we don't care very much when 150 people are killed with car bombs in Baghdad.

We need to get away from this idea of global, inter-culture empathy, as it's a recipe for strife, war and discontent.

It's a comfy country because as a rule Catholics aren't murdering Protestants (or vice versa) for not worshipping G-d the "right way". The Christian West grew up and embraced civilization, embraced accepting and even celebrating differences. The Islamic East has not.

Nothing to do with the point being made but thanks for a bunch of words I guess.

Don't be ridiculous. They're religious fanatics trying to bring the entire world into a dark age of Islamic rule. I'm a reasonable, secular person who was perfectly happy with the status quo of us exploiting them for their natural resources, choosing their leaders and improving the American standard of living. I don't care what they do to each other or believe, as long as they keep it in their desert.

Because not playing PC is totally the same as killing people.

The difference of course is that he supports people and policies that kill and displace people in the middle east while terrorists don't have the luxury of having a government do the dirty work for them.

It has nothing to do with being PC and everything to do with realizing how much of a hypocrite you are stating that so long as people don't touch you you don't care what they do all while poking them in the eye as you say it.
