We got a new kitten (well 5 months old) on the 26th to replace our recently passed orange tabby (RIP).

The integration with the existing cat (3 years) was pretty easy. They aren't the best of buddies yet, but they aren't killing eachother.

She was a stray rescue so we have to get some meat on her bones.

Beautiful resue homerboy! RIP, orange tabby 🙁

rudeguy, mine does that, except on my desk chair! naughty naughty...

Not sure, she was a street rescue-she has unusually long hair for this climate (SoCal), so I'm guessing she's not native to this region.

Hi res:

That looks like either a Persian, or a Somali. The long fur, and M on the forehead are typical for those two breeds. I'm leaning more towards Somali.

A couple cat's pics:

This one I've printed on Kodak Metallic paper in 20x24 size:

cats are funny. Toss an empty box down and you'll guarantee at least 20 minutes of entertainment for yourself

I'm not really a cat person due to being allergic to them, but that's a beautiful pussy you have there.

Thanks!

That's his good side I presume:sneaky:

She's a girl, and that's probably the last thing the poor mice see before she makes a kill 😀

She was a street rescue, so she's probably got all sorts of stuff mixed into her genetics, but Somali looks pretty accurate.

She's a seal point himalayan, possibly mixed with some ragdoll 🙂

The cats in this thread are all so awesome. We have two of our own that have brought us so much joy and happiness as well.

This is Mr. Blue, enjoying the incredible weather we had yesterday. His favorite place to play is outside, with us, on the grass.

and this is Maggie, just now, resting up after a long night of sleeping:

If her food dish is empty before I wake up in the morning, she'll come and wake me by licking my eyelids. Thanks, you little fucker D:

She's lucky she's so cute...
