Does she have soft paws on? How is your experience with them?

Yes, we had to put them on because she kept scratching at the covers for my klipsch floorstand speakers. Still tries to do it, but inst as successful when all the softpaws are there.

They work well, just have to replace them every couple of weeks as they fall off/get chewed off, etc.

I'm thinking about getting the Soft Paws for my cat but so far she won't even let me touch her paws to trim her nails... which is odd because she is otherwise so mellow. I was all for declawing until I learned what it actually was... now I'm not so sure.

The people at the SPCA said to keep her confined to one room for a week or two until she adjusts. For now that is my 2nd bathroom. Since I can't sit in there with her all day and she is still scared to explore the house, I came up with a solution to see her while still letting her rest.

Here's my 8 month old, she's the sweetest thing in the world. Her name is Smokey. She's totally amiable and social-she needs to be around people constantly! So adorable <3

She's remarkably well behaved too. Aside from a couple of bed urination incidents, she hasn't done anything naughty.

That is a beautiful cat.

Here is mine:

His name is Luigi. Incredibly affectionate cat but not too bright. Falls down stairs, falls out of people's laps, eats his food too quickly and then pukes, and generally has a look of confusion on his face. Currently he is back home with my mom while I'm away for college but I plan to bring him with me wherever I move after I graduate.

More cute:

I maybe like dogs better than cats, but its more fun to have both. Right now I have 2 pound dogs and 2 stray cats. They all get along great and cats plus dogs is even better.

Here are my two boys, Lenny and Carl. They are almost a year old now, but these pics were taken in January.

Our cat, Trillian, likes to hang out on my shoulders and jump up on the stationary ceiling fan to hang out on the blades. Trillian is getting a bit too big for it now, so now I get attacked with her jumping onto my chest to attack the drawstrings on my hoodie.

That is the cutest thing I ever seen a cat do:hmm: How did kitty get up there? and how high are your ceilings? I know cats can jump high but I never seen one up on a ceiling fan blade before

It's all fun and games until someone turns the switch on and doesn't know the cat is up there.

My cat is an old man (he's going on 18 years old this year) so he's pretty mellow. Have had him since he was a kitten. I'll have to grab a pic of him when he comes out for food later.. he makes his own hours these days.

I adopted these two beautiful boys from a local shelter on March 28th.

So far they are both a little skittish but they are quickly warming up to me. The flame point is Cosmos and the lilac point is Comet.

Our ceilings are about 8 ft or so. She likes to sometimes sit on my shoulder when I walk around, and she will jump from there when I walk by the ceiling fan, other times when we are carrying her she will jump out of your arms to get up there or really start reaching for it. She loves to go up there, but now that she is getting bigger the blades bend under the weight and she cant fit between them and the ceiling.

She also loves getting up on the curtain rods too, and pacing up and down them.

This is back when she was just a few months old.

Four years laters, no way she would fit in there now.

Our cat just showed up at the house one day. Took him awhile to stick around and get comfy with us but all good now. :)

A prized sleeping spot, doesn't look that comfy but I guess for a cat it is

Best of all

Kind of trained him that the recliner is his chair now, so if we let him in he will literally get in there and sleep from 9am to 6pm, lol.

I have one that looks just like yours, and she loves to hang her head down off the edge of the bed or the chair or whatever. :)
