you cant call it a bonus drop because it never drops, 1+ year of kara never seen it

Yeah it's stupid. Sometimes I'll proc extra flasks too and with Fel lotus being 60g+ selling extra flasks I don't need turns a quick buck.

Also had thousands of marks and fel arms stored up thinking some day I would switch to Aldor because 33 healing > 22 healing, but these days I'm liking the Scryer tank and healing enchants more and decided to just start dumping them in a controlled fashion for steady income. Farming marks is pretty profitable as prot with the Sporeggar shield, pocket watch, and commendation or figurine of the colossus.

I ran kara every single week since I was attuned for it, well into MH/BT and only like two months ago did Libram of Souls Redeemed finally drop the one and only time I ever saw it. One of those runs I was the only enchanter and picked up mongoose when it dropped :)

Got a ton of voids and badges from those countless runs, I just burn some on gems or sell a few LPS when the price is high, never all at once though. When I log on I'll check AH prices to see which gems are highest and take about 60 badges with me to the isle.

Nether vortex are pretty good too, people seem to forget about those with the boom of epic badge gems.

Sure ya can.. unless you specifically go to Kara for the Mongoose enchant. I refuse to enchant Shadow Resist to cloak, defense to bracers or spell power to bracers without a tip, because each of them took 3 hours or more of farming to get. Well, if they're orange or yellow, I'll do it without a tip, because I want 375.

I actually just took a break from raiding and just started back last night.

I was in a 3/6 SW guild called Do It Well on Doomhammer. Was fun.

When I came back, I was kicked out :p

So I transferred to Earthen Ring to play with a real-life friend and joined a newly formed guild called Kane's Mutiny. It's made up of about 15 SW core raiders and 15 T5 raiders. So we're struggling through some of the older content, but it's refreshing to go back to SSC/TK. BT and MH get so damn boring after doing them over and over and over.

And Archimonde STILL hasn't dropped Cataclysm's yet. I hate him.

He isn't showing up because I just transferred :p

Hah I think some of you might get a kick out of this. So, my guild decides it wants to do Sunwell trash. Now, I find their devotion admirable, but you have to remember that my guild has never done T5 content muchless T6. Gruul is like the pinnacle of their WoW existence. So we get to the first mob... that arcane protector ma-jig. We get it to 38% before it kills us (I ran the hell away :p). The amusing part is how this mob literally became like a boss for us. Unfortunately, we couldn't down the "first boss" of Sunwell as someone pulled aggro around 19% (gg warlock in some badge lewts, I know it was you!) and it destroyed the party.

It was kind of amusing, but I don't know why they think they can just do Sunwell trash when some of the people aren't even suitable for a kara run. Admittedly, it did go much easier when we stacked Shamans :p.

my guild is 5/6 scc, 3/4 tk, and 2/5 hyjal and Sunwell clearing is a joke for us as well (maybe it was the lack of CC), so don't feel bad.

yeah, but we spent a good 2 hours in there just to get a pricey repair bill. We did not get far :)

it's probably a bad idea to farm in there unless you are a T6 guild

No no, that's the second pull lol. We had four mages for that pull, but we kinda had to beat the guardian/sentinel thing first.

Um, I have been doing sunwell trash for a long time now, i was on my server's first group to do it, (4th day after patch) and I have never ever seen any trash group try to take out the protector. Not sure why you would even consider it. Just pull the first group when he is on the other side of the tree....Takes 5 mages, 1 hunter, 1 tank, 3 healers and 1 dps for the imps and its cake.

Oh hey, that probably would've been a good idea :p. Although, I think if we all had a little bit better gear and maybe 25 people (I think our best was 22), we would've killed that thing anyway. He would've died that one time if the warlock just cast soul shatter, but the bigger issue is the fact that the lock was using badge gear and our tank was just in T4.. or at least some T4. I also don't know how good the tank is, but I don't think he's bad... to keep aggro until 20% on a mob that's being fully nuked and only getting maybe a 3 second head start.

Landren, Proudmoore server, GL of KMA.

We're on Felmyst in Sunwell right now.

Kalecgos so far has been the hardest boss in TBC for us. Brutallis much easier. Only other boss that was nearly as hard as Kalecgos was Vashj. The BT/MH bosses were a joke. THe difficulty/progression curve in tbc has been very strange. Hoping it is a little more linear in WotLK.

kalec only seems harder because it requires people to pay attention, same with Felmyst, much more personal responsibility.

twins is even worse and Muru& KJ are just more of it

After one night on Felmyst, it seems much easier than Kale. I've heard that the remaining 3 bosses are, however as bad, or worse, then Kale.

Wait till you get to the 3rd pull and don't kill the scout fast enough.

You get all those blood elves and the scout activates one of those sentinels at the same time :)

i really think you should not be able to avoid the first Guardian, also it should be one of the mini Doomwalkers that are before KJ, that would pretty much eliminate any trash farming pugs

Nah, I think they should just get rid of all the trash and put M'uru 20 yards from the entrance.

Mostly because I'm sick of killing that trash.

I think trash is actually what killed my desire to raid completely. Molten Bore has to be Blizzard's worst instance for trash as the only mobs that were removed were the two that were worthwhile (Core Hounds removed after killing Magmadar and Lava Surgers after killing Garr). But if you didn't do it all in one sitting ( most people didn't until they were geared from doing it a lot ), you had trashalicious runs every night ~_~. At least they learned and did it right in BWL, but I spent so long in MC that the damage was done way back then... of course that's also because Razorgore was our block in BWL rather than Vael (which didn't even take a week to kill oddly enough). I still remember our first Vael pull.. we died in like 10 seconds . Then there was the one time where everyone died except a lone Paladin and he killed Vael.

Oh those old days were kinda fun :(. Maybe I don't have as much fun raiding because I tend to raid on my healer the most, and I don't really like it. I remember doing Gruul's once and someone asked if everyone remembered the kill order and even though I was just a healbot, I easily recited that back... it was the DPSer in me that yearned to follow it! Although, I have 3 [edit]DPS[/edit] characters that I'm preparing for PVE... which do I choose... hrmm.
