so my guild is unstable atm (new members, not filling 25man). we are 2/5 in hyjal, and recently killed the first boss in BT. They posted about going into Sunwell tonight to farm trash. What are your thoughts on this? Can we pull off farming it, are the drop rates worth it?

M'uru finially Dead, Phase 1 is easier but its not a free kill by anymeans, and you still have to play almost perfect the entire time

I sadly am going to disagree with this, even with the only 10-15% hp nerf, it allows for a lot easier time on Entropius, P1 was about how you controlled the adds and getting them all down correctly (ie proper amount of dps on each side) and reducing their health was completely unnecessary, they could have dropped just M'uru's health by 10-20% and kept the phase just as complex and hard. P2 was about spreading out and not being stupid with void zones and moving the tank away from the orbs, hp nerf was not needed on him at all, its a pure burn and if you cant make it then there is no way you will make the 25-0 on KJ.

Anyways KJ wasn't nearly as bad as M'uru, we killed KJ in under 100 attempts while we took 400ish on M'uru. There really was no nerf for KJ aside from the hunter wing clip thing (lol at it now). Y'all will kill KJ very soon.

We feel your pain on the trash drops, we have been doing trash for 3-4 hours prior to raid everyday since the zone opened, all we have to show for it is a rogue lwing chest and engineering hat, and a couple wands (I have sunfire gloves cause I transferred with them).

i didnt want to see it nerfed as on monday we had many sub 15% P2 wipes some in the singles, im 100% positive we would have had a kill this week Nerf or not, but i dissagree with you on where it should have been, IMO the Humanoids did need the nerf but not Muru or Entrop, simply to give guilds more options and less raid stacking needed

i still stand by my point that this wont be a Loot pinanita like say Shade of Akama, the encounter is still difficult and will still take nearly the same amount of focus as it did before, new guilds wont walk in there having never seen it and kill it in 1 day

New here so thought I'd start chiming in on things :)

Xavier434 actually my friends and I play on Eonar also. I was actually in Distortion a long time ago on my rogue (sold her sadly). Now just have my Shaman there with IRL friends (hate PvE servers lol).

Naruchan - 70 BE Priest - Illidan
Cèleste - 63 BE Paladin - Illidan
Tingli - 62 DR Shaman - Eonar
Olinai - 27 BE Mage - Illidan
Qianyi - 27 HU Rogue - Burning Blade
Sõphia - 13 NE Druid - Buring Legion
Minghuili - 12 BE Warlock - Illidan

All my 10+ characters lol. Need to quit being lazy on Cèleste and Tingli -_-.

Neither did I:

Onyxia

Daishi - Undead Mage [Frost]
Daishí - Tauren Druid [Resto]
Masakari - Tauren Warr [Prot or Fury]

And I must say, I don't know if you noticed Xavier, but it's nice that the countdown on the hots are easier to see now with the yellow.

Eh? I haven't logged in since Monday. Did the patch change this? I currently use Pitbull for my frames so I am not sure if I will see it or not.

I'm glad im just a rogue in raids. My mods consist of omen(threat meter), recount(dps meter), bigwigs (raid mod for alerts), and guild calendar (for raid schedules). thats it. everything else is just the normal wow interface.

I think I might give up Titan for Fubar tonight and see if I like it more. I may also finally give in and try Grid, but only because everyone seems to be using it these days. My custom setup for Pitbull combined with Ora2 as suited me very well which is why I have not installed Grid yet. Not to mention that since the vast majority of all my heals are instant cast the whole transferring data thing to the other healers is basically useless. The only major advantage that I can think of is that all of the debuff/DoT indicators that Grid shows is not a feature included in Pitbull. If I can make the rest of UI for it look and act the same as Pitbull I may stick with the change. Believe it or not, I am actually one of those weird people that desires my raid frames to be a bit larger.

most of our healers have large raid frames, mine are small because i only use them to see raid status, give soulstones and summons

but i used to use Titan for a long time, Fubar is much better

Just read the stuff on Achievements for the expansion. At least we now know the MMOs are going full circle with WoW taking these from LOTRO.

Who took them from XBOX Live (or rather the games designed around it), so it's all good. They honestly won't mean much since there's no guarantee that just because someone did "xxx" event that it was worthwhile. Like one is getting to level 15 without dying once... yeah, I could just have a level 70 (or rather 80) help me with that. Although, you'd have to be a noobasaurus to die that early... and I say this as my newer warlock died at level 4 :p. But that's because I had to fight 3 mobs (at once) to get an item to summon my imp!

City of heroes had something similar to the achievement thing.
