Also will the gpu be enough? Fwiw, power is on battery so very stable.

1920 x 1200, max settings if possible with the sli setup

Cards are 1GB versions

Has this game became stable enough since November?Had it and refunded it cause of endless frustration.Has much changed since then?

See massive performance gains with Mantle and current gen Amd gpus but with a i5 2500 non k and a 2gb gtx770 on windows 7,how would performance be at 1080p be now these days fps wise?

Honestly wanna get into this game but need a little up to date info🙂

I have an i5-4760k at stock clocks and a gtx770 oc edition, and I get 60fps constant (vsync on for me) at 1080p with everything set on ultra. I do not see why you wouldn't get similar if your CPU is over clocked some. Ever since I upgraded from an i5-760 and HD6950, the game has run smooth as butter with not one single crash (as opposed to almost every other round before).

Based on my experience, you should be good to go now.

Edit: I should also mention that I'm on Windows 8.1. I hear the performance of BF4 is better on 8.1 vs. 7.

I assume I'm doing something wrong. Playing through Origin/battlelog web interface. The server browser for multiplayer shows like 3 servers with people in there. That can't be right.

This depends entirely on your settings, and expectations. Even with a gtx780 and a 2500k at 4.5ghz I saw some pretty bad minimums by my standards. I shoot for 120fps though.

I would expect you will always be over 40fps on ultra settings with no AA.

Typically, I have to make some filter adjustments and refresh to get a decent list. I hope you've already tried that and it worked...

Dropping motion blur and AA will happen, BF3 i run all high settings so i know that is what i may be doing in BF4.Perhaps all medium and i could run fps where my cpu being the limited factor while coming close to a 60+ experience?

Should be fine. The game doesn't really perform much worse than bf3.

You won't need to drop that much. We have similar systems, and I run ultra/2xMSAA/high post AA/HBAO on and have minimums in around 45, average around 60-70. However, I am on a slightly lower resolution (1680x1050).

I think the game looks great too, a lot better than it did on all low with my old GTX 460.

Hope so,i just remember having the worst time with it back in November but i know some patches and updates have came out since then.🙂Was stutterfield 4 for me when i ran Windows 7 and since 8.1 preview is expired i was a bit worried running on 7.

I should just copy the settings i run in BF3.

The servers I play on are as crowded as always... seems lots of folks like Conquest on the 'Golmud Railway' map...

Two updates are out. One game update that is about 500MB and I'm in the process of downloading Naval Strike at 4.96GB. Battlelog is still down because of the updates at this time.

Just got banned from a server for saying "gay" after getting one of those mysterious deaths. 2nd server that's happened on. So I linked one server on the EA "forums" board (my only post there) with the description, "this server is gay, gay as in HOMO", and was banned from that too.
Politically correct gone wild.

lol yah servers are stupid. No cursing! second later hear soldier cursing.
Blows my mind that admins care about stupid stuff, but don't enforce high ping kick plugins.

However, having some person going around calling things "gay" is lame and stupid and they should be banned from everywhere they use the term.

Having played a long time on servers that ban fairly actively for swearing, etc, its always a shock going to a server that permits it. I don't miss all the foul language and people accusing people of cheating. Or the guys who are 2-24 yet telling you how you suck and trying to coach the team. I don't really think we should have to ban for bad language, but it tends to attract a self-selected more mature group in general. Much of the abusive stuff like calling hax, or berating people won't get you banned on these, but the people there just don't do it. I have to wonder if it keeps the real cheaters away a bit too? You can't troll as effectively in such an environment.

I got kicked from a server for typing "WTF" after a strange random death. Admin stating no cursing allowed. So, WTF is an actual curse word now apparently.
