Well, I haven't heard them say any specific time, just September 17th. So unless I missed something, they haven't lied about anything as we have quite a few more hours till that deadline.

And I believe they run on PST, which kind of sucks since I'd wait till midnight EST but midnight PST is too late as if it is any good at all I would end up with like 2 hours of sleep; in other words I'd wait till tomorrow evening to play. A few rounds of ET:QW will do for tonight anyway :)

QFT

they only said 9/17/07/

and give them a little credit, they have to make sure everything works before opening it up to the world.

K so I wasn't going to really buy the orange box, instead just tf2, but I coughed up the extra $15 for beta....its the 18th.

Yeah it does suck b/c I can't keep my eyes open any longer. Oh well, I'll get to play tomorrow night (if it's released).

Yeah this is kinda ridiculous. I wouldn't have an issue if they said "released today" but it says ~ "get to play the 17th". Not a big deal, but I've got nothing else to do tonight and i'm bored and annoyed.

The verdict:

It's fun. I wasn't sure about the Pixar-ish graphics, but after playing the game a bit they fit right in.

Time for a few hours of sleep.

I was only able to play for a few myself, but it sure felt like TFC, and played like TFC, and looks amazing. My first guess is that this will be a hit.
