I'm pretty sure that communicating with the enemy we are fighting a war (2 wars?) against should be figured in.

But my point is that they are very quick to call this a terrorist attack and to even make a point of doing so. I'm would just like to know why the hurry in calling this terrorism but not Fort Hood?

Perhaps the difference is the Fort Hood attacker had a known history and a connection to the people he killed. Which gave him motivations that trying to kill a planeload of people you don't know a different baseline.

Very true. I snapped to a conclusion even though I didn't have a ton of information....something I hate when other people do. Something tells me the FBI probably has a little better idea of what's going on than me 😀

It would be far more difficult to make an attack on an airplane than a military base. If one has the motivation and half a brain, there aren't many places in the world that aren't immune to attack.
