in a lot of states you can charge teens as adults for murder, so it may also apply to their privacy and such.

Yes, but every piece of news I've seen on this has stated that his name will not be released because he is a minor. The only one being charged as an adult at this time is the 17 year old.

I think the kids shot the baby

I have no doubt based on the reported statements from the mother of the younger boy posted early on. She said he was just a witness, not the shooter. That's not what non-involved parties would say, especially when the arrests happened so quickly after the shooting.

Mother, aunt of Georgia baby murder suspect arrested, charged with lying

The mother and aunt of a teenager charged in the death of a Georgia baby were arrested Tuesday for allegedly lying to investigators, police said.
The arrests came the morning after 17-year-old De'Marquise Elkins' first court appearance on murder charges in connection with the fatal shooting of 13-month-old Antonio Santiago. Santiago was in a stroller on a walk with his mother, Sherry West, in the coastal town of Brunswick on Thursday when the shooting occurred. West was also shot.
Karima Aisha Elkins, 36, and Katrina Latrelle Elkins, 33, were booked on charges of making false statements to police and concealing facts or providing fraudulent documents in matters of government, Glynn County police said.

Looks like this kid gets his morals at home. I wonder how the cops figured out the lie so quickly?

Let me guess which one is the mama....

The youngest one?

One on the left is 33 and the one on the right is 36. His mother is the one on the right, so she was 19 or so when she had him. I have not heard any mention of the father yet.

His father probably walked out on him. So, there isn't a father.

Imagine 2 drunk guys are out swimming. Then one of the guys sticks his fingers in between the other guys buttchecks. Was he raped?

Maybe the cops screwed up.
Of course, that wont get the kid off, but his family can maybe sue later on.

Sorry, but the two of them need to be permanently sterilized. Just because you can have children, doesn't mean you can raise them. People like this should not be breeding...

And who do you propose enforces these forced sterilizations.

who determines the guidelines?
