Or better yet, collect and document all of the cancer research process, present it in a clear manner, so that others can take that and even come closer to solving cell life and death on command *cough*cancer*cough*.
 
Interesting read, but to think that admins are perfect and have an easy job in this place is realistic ?? Nahh, not possible.

Don't give others problems and you don't need to worry about an admin bothering you .. simple as that.
 
So if what he says is true then it does sound like there are a few mods who should not be modding. I don't go into the sub forums all that much so i dont know if there is any truth to it. I generally stick to the off topic sections and i feel the modding in those in generally ok.
 
The root of this guy's problem is that he attributes all actions performed against him as him being an AMD guy. He's completely oblivious it is due to his history.

Some other Intel guy didn't get infracted for the same thing! Well, first prove that guy has a douche bag history like you do! Also prove he didn't get infracted!

He didn't get banned for 4 weeks for his single comment, he was banned 4 weeks for a history of comments. This guy is very poor at relating why he's getting infracted & warned, not to mention in the links to the threads he gives, Intel guys are getting infracted & warned (namely Intel17 who, by this guy's entire point, should never be infracted).
 
I laughed when he posted identical posts to nvidia trolls and got infractions for it, and they got nothing.

Word for word identical hahahahaha.

I've had some very unprofessional dealings with one vc&g mod in particular. A mod insulting people over PM is not something that should ever happen.

if you ignore his obvious butt hurt though, there are still some very valid points he brings up.

Or openly vicious, then infracting / vacationing the person when they reply.

Hmmm. I've been posting fairly regular in CPU, VC&G, and General Hardware for the past few years. Corruption means money. This means recommending certain types of purchases above all others. I don't see it. When it comes time for most members to say which GPU or CPU is the best it all comes down to numbers. Which ones deliver and which don't? Sure there is some bias, efforts to paint certain products in a pretty light, but it's certainly not without a HUGE grain of salt.

I've done a fair amount of advocating for red, blue, and green teams when the performance and price of their equipment makes them compelling. Had some spirited debates. Agreed to disagree. But not ONCE have I felt like a moderator was silencing the opposition because of fiscal self interest.

Sure, but the main substance of his rant and the majority of his points are thrown out the window. I agree though that not everything can be simply dismissed due to this.

Overall this is a self-contained forum, it isn't going to be perfect.

Happened to me. Never posted anything bad either, just won the random "ban of the day" award. No one knew why & my account was never re-instated.
