I don't know about you guys, but my pending creds have been increasing in the last week: from 3,700 to 5,600 today. Same for you folks? It's not that I really produced more. Just looks like the "other ppl" take longer to crunch. And it's hard to estimate how much these pending creds will eventually yield.

I think part of the "wait" is that the latest batch of WU's seem to be pretty long. That, and perhaps some of the credit hounds left town when the credits were normalized. I'm not getting many credits granted right now, nor is my pending going up much. But I am getting more than a few 9 hr. WU's on really fast boxes. It'll catch up again soon, I'm sure...

Analysis of the programmed decrease in credit/hour in NanoHive@home:

Date ________ number of WUs ______ credit/hour _______ credit/hour ___ credit/hour _____ decrease __
_______________ in stats ___________ average ________ std-dev ______ min - max _____ in credit/hour
February 06 _______ 19 _______________ 48 _____________ 15 ________ 31 - 71 _______ starting point
February 07 _______ 18 _______________ 46 _____________ 23 ________ 21 - 92 __________ -5%
February 08 _______ 17 _______________ 38 _____________ 10 ________ 23 - 52 _________ -20%
February 09 _______ 17 _______________ 34 ______________ 7 ________ 21 - 40 _________ -30%
February 10 _______ 18 _______________ 23 ______________ 9 ________ 13 - 34 _________ -52%
February 11 _______ 12 _______________ 19 ______________ 6 ________ 13 - 27 _________ -60%
February 12 _______ 14 _______________ 22 ______________ 4 ________ 16 - 27 _________ -56%
February 13 _______ 14 _______________ 22 ______________ 5 _________ 9 - 27 _________ -56%

I have the strong impression that the programmed decrease is now getting quite slow. However, the numbers may be skewed by the fact that the WUs have been significantly longer for the last two days: five days ago the average length of the WUs was 25 000 seconds, today the averge length was 55 000 seconds - that is some 15 hours of crunching. Why this means higher credits/hour I do not know, but I have observed a similar trend in othe projects (such as QMC@Home, Simap).

I would love the chance to crunch DPAD again. That remains one of my favorite projects.

As the resident Apprentice DC Noob, I'm open to anything as long as it's fun.

My new blueheron1 computer is online 24/7 now.

I overclocked it a bit! 15% to 2990GHz. Here are my benchmarks.

Well, why do you guys want to change in the first place? I mean, we said we'll give them 10 days and I think by now they did a fairly good job with lowering the creds. I'd say we stay on Nano as initially planed. But hey, democracy, ey? :)

I lied above. I agree with BMC. Nono-Hive has 14000+ WUs remaining and I think we should sling more FLOPS at them.

I'm not saying we *should* switch, I just tossed out an option. If we want to fling some mud ;) back at Free-DC on DPAD in 15 days time, that's good enough for me. It's a short month anyway!

Heeeeyyyyy Folks!

Time to vote - only 2 days left!

Should really three persons decide what TAS should do? :Q
Democracy rules only if a sufficient number of the eligible voters cast their vote!

So: get to TAS (link in the first post) and vote!

Or I am going to do start sending out nag-mails, nag-PMs, posting nag-posts and stop doing the stats! ;)

Hey, this worked - now 7 TAS:ers have voted ... could I have some more votes, please? I promise not
to send out nag-mails, nag-PMs, posting nag-posts

and will continue to do the stats if we get a total of 11 or more votes!

total of 11

Won't happen! Even during the monthly polls we hardly get to 11! You know, we're so 7331, and cool, and elite like, that the others are scared to vote on the Olymp of TAS
