There are some pretty good sized WU's at N@H. Not old-skool QMC sized ones, but they could be long on slower boxes...

I guess our production will me lower this month with Nano than last month with Proteins@Home. Judging from my current Nano WUs, they yield about 30% less creds than P@H did.

Alas! ;)

Hey, it's the science, right?

Just an FYI: N@H will NOT show you all your pending credits when you click the 'Pending credit' link. There are also (currently) a lot of instances where an obvious quorum has been reached, but the results files say a 'consensus' has not been reached. Kind of annoying, but just so's ya know...

Oh, and just to let you know:

the firsty day in NanoHive@Home has resulted in two roadkills:

That is up from rank 8 to rank 6. :D

Next roadkill sometime tomorrow:

Kick-ass!

On a side note, here is a snippet of a post from Brian, project admin for N@H:

...we will be up'ing the amount of credit earned in this project to better compete with the other projects.

FYI, We're #2 now. :)

A note from the project dev:

Welcome to February 2007 of our Tooltip Failure Mode Search Project and NHAH Beta testing.

NHAH has just upped the credit granting factor so that it is more in-line with what the other projects grant. To reward those that stuck with our previous "woeful" credit, the change will be retroactive.

In addition, this coming week is credit-fix-it week. We'll also be working on client app stability. A new version of the app (5.05) has been uploaded with minor fixes and clean-ups.

Thanks for your continuing participation in the project,
--Brian.

I'm a bit worried about a huge overclaim on of my boxes just made though....

Same here. Some of my boxes claim 600 creds for 40,000 seconds, while about two days ago they claimed 90 for the same thing. I posted about it in the Nano forums. Take a look here.

Well, I think this is just the ususal teething problems of a "new" project. Remember the Rosetta@home problems a year ago? That was solved too. :)
Lets cruch on, get all the credits we can, and put TA on the map (as we are doing --- we may be #1 in 6 - 7 days :D )
