Hehe ... you know ... I'm still finishing off Proteins@Home - want to get 70,000 creds - and only THEN I'll switch all forces to Nano ...

So ....

You might catch a cow, but try a BULL, and you'll see

OTOH look at these stats: TA's production in Nanohive@home for the following days:

__ Date _____ Credits/day
2007-02-05 ____ 22.152
2007-02-04 ____ 11.246
2007-02-03 ____ 10.507
2007-02-02 _____ 8.207
2007-02-01 _____ 6.359

This is not quite realistic - there has to be some backlash soon. TAS has never produced 22 000 credits in one day!
The credits are totally out of whack!

Be prepared for a HUGE day in stats tomorrow, then. Maybe 40k?

Yeah, I know. But that will get at most 200 credits - I think! I do not feel comfy about these credits. That WU requires a quorum of 3 (TG!).
It seems that those units which requite a quorum of 2 give the highest, because the credits granted are the average of the two computer's results.
The new WUs require a quorum of 3, the higest and lowest are dumped and the middle one is granted ...

Damn, how long is it going to take for my laptop to find it's way through a work unit... I'm way too impatient today. hehe

Here are the new sTAts for TAS in NanoHive@Home!

The numbers are very unstable (they change greatly every hour).
The individual stats are as of 07:30 UTC.
The team-stats as of 07:30 UTC and 08:27 UTC. The difference is remarkable ... take a look!

Anyhow: Team Anandtech has added 115 245 credits in just 5½ days (= 20950 credits/day, during the passed 16 hours more than 65 K credits), TA's RAC is climbing by the hour and the individual stats are developping very fast ...

:D :Q

Hey RaySun2Be, where is your red racer? ;)

Something is sooooo not right with those creds: I just jumped form 2,500 to 15,276.96 creds ... ok, creds are cool, but that's just wrong and does NOT reflect the actual work I did! :(

Welcome to the crunching, FMC - you are now in the stats! :D

@ BMC: I agree: If they are adjusting the credits in this way it may all be well in the end - but I have my doubts. This is not OK. I'll go over to the forum@Nanohive and look around ... :Q

lol... Slight minor detail I missed there for a bit. Oooops. (Although I think BMC was much more accurate with the "D'oh!").

This may be it ...

Yesterday we changed the credit claims to be more similar to how other projects work, so you'll see some "woeful" claims and some "project-parity" claims all in the same WU results for a little while. We're making the change retro-active, and fixing all the credit this week, so in the end, it will all be smoothed out.

But the changes are unnerving - and there seems to be quite some amounts of "credit-inflation" ...

Just looked around and thought a little:

The RAC is out of whac because the NanHive@Home team is recalculating all the credits; they have left the RAC-formula as it is. Since the credits are climbing (as they are recalculated) the comp thinks that the credits are added in the short time and the RAC-numbers are climbing very fast.

I guess: The recalculation of the credits should more than double all end averyone's credits (at least) in the end. Before application 5.04 (and 5.05) the work done was underestimated and only less than half of the credits (which the crunchers should have) were granted. Now the corrections come come in, and the new credits, (which are substantiually higher) and thus the sums are wrong. I think that there will be a following adjustment and that the credits will be more realistic when this week has ended ...

True, but make that "more than double" something like quadruple or even 5times as much. So far for me, I have 6times the creds I had before.
