Welcome Newfie! I couldn't think of a better way how to get to know the world of DC again than actually joining TAS. Sean - mrwizer - basically said it all. Just come over and crunch with us and have a good time. 😀

@Peter: Already looking forward to your stats and the vote! 🙂

Welcome back Jened! To rejoin, please register at TAS' homepage and you can vote for the next month's project when the poll comes up tomorrow.
Glad to see you! 🙂

all registered at the forums and just finished up my first unit for rosetta - so hopefully i'll appear on the stat list soon

woot! working well, about to install on another computer although quite a bit slower - we'll see if it's worth it?

ah yeah its worth it 😛

btw, using a link from Peter in another thread i like the boinc stats here, this table showing me and g.wizard top 5 in all users with 2 hosts only 🙂

some interesting comnpare options, like viewing how one fairs against everyone else who joined on the same day (#2 here 😛 )

Yeah so they do .... 🙂
And AMD-users' production is down too - something has happended to their best cruncher ..🙁 we may have a chance to catch them too - I hope :Q

thanks for the link. i'll check it out tomorrow. it turns out that slow box is a p2-450 but it's always on and never used so what the heck. it already returned something so i guess it's worth it 🙂 anyways just installed at home so i've got 3 computers cranking away now.

Welcome to TAS, Newfie 🙂

And welcome back, Jened 😛

I think the first rule of TAS - TeAm Anandtech Sentinel - was to have fun!

Another rule that should be stressed also - so someone doesn't get the wrong idea - is that to be a member you only have to put one computer to the TAS project. Or you can put as many as you like. The idea was to give a boost to the project we do each month... And to allow anyone to be a TASmate.

Come to think of it, I don't think we called them rules either they were called - ?

Amdxborg do you still have the original thingy about TAS? All I really remember is we have fun 😀

🙂 Here are this weeks Rosetta@Home stats! 😀

It looks really great:
1. TAS produced more than 70% of the TeAm's output in rosetta! 🙂
2. More than 150 000 cobblestones this month - for the whole TeAm! 😀
3. More then 100 000 cobblestones this month of TAS :Q

Many milestones for TAS' members - look!, it is too much to enumerate here ...

thanks for the stats Peter. 🙂

this will be a down day as my son gets his hands on AOE3 on my rig 😛 that should wipe out about 1/2 my ppd, lol.
