just added two more p4-2.8s to give a little more boost in this last week. let's get the november project picked out soon.

edit: i guess i was a little too premature - lacked admin rights on second box. well one new one is better than none i guess.

the last couple days haven't been my best as my wireless has dropped each day so one machine had some extended idle times. i should have changed the setting so it would download more work. oh well.

anyway, yes, lets finish up with a bang. once we leave it looks like answer monkeys will fast be on the AT tail so the bigger buffer the better.

as for november, i'm still undecided. thanks for all the info on the different projects rattledagger.

I have opened a new BOINC-November poll. The reason for this is that three out of four of those who have voted wanted - after the discussion in this and other threads the possibility to change their vote.
The old poll is now closed.

If you have any strong opinions about this please PM me instead of flaming anybody in this thread. Thank you for your consideration.

Maybe I'm a pain your "rear" Peter, but should we also add Rosetta@Home to the "rerun projects"? I mean, for example, I missed almost half the month due to that computational error I always received and have been going full force for only about 10 days now. Others had some problems, too. It's just now that I got all clients running 24/7 w/o problems we're about to switch to another project already.

Just my 2 cents!

🙂

well, that will make things more difficult 😛 a good idea though Christian as after some rough spots early at least it runs well now.

well TAS mates, i am selling off my single core a64 tomorrow 🙂 hate to see it go but i like to see the money come 😛

anyway, its only been running f@h and dimes so my TAS production won't fall any, this month at least.

lol, that was the plan.

of course i've had the x2 replacement for a month or so now 😉 i've just been waiting on my buddy to take this one.

now its like found money. i gotta stay away from tankguys and newegg for a while 😛

I hear you man, I hear you.

I love my X2 and I think it's the best CPU I own ever since my 386 DX40, I mean innovation wise and performance wise. The X2 just rocks. I've got my X2 3800+ overclocked to 2,4 GHz on air with the stock cooler and that baby gives me a RAC in R@H of 506 (!!!) :Q

🙂

i didn't realize how much i took the x2 for granted until i started setting up his stuff on my , errr his, 3000+ venice. wow, what a difference :Q

these are great chips.

i hadn't planned on voting until this weekend. i'll cast it once i get a few cups o' coffee in me and do another once over of them 😛

ugh, the search for little green men?

😛

j/k, i'm sure theres more to it i just haven't read up on it for a lonnng time.

anyway, my votes in. 🙂

Come on, please vote! Now! 😀

I voted yesterday... looks like SETI's in the lead. Can you believe I've never done a single WU for that project? 🙂

13 votes are in - ... - please vote - we are more than 30 TAS-members! 😀
I would really like to see that at least 60% of all members of the miniteam voted (that is 19 - 20 voters!) 🙂
