Does that happen also if you go to the rosetta-home page (I mean new windows and so on)?
Or are there different servers?

Well it does not matter. I've had my 15 minutes now, and thats that! Just as long as nobody thinks I am cheating, because I am not: I have the e-mail as a proof!

The passed week has been a good one for TeAm:
Rosetta@home: passed 100K and 125K milestones,
DIMES: passed the 15 000 K milestone

This week will be even better:
BOINC total: approaching fast the 20 000 000 milestone
LHC@home: approaching very fast the 150 K milestoone.

Not too shabby? :)

Darn!

Had to shut down my XP2000+ with R@H today. All of a sudden all WUs failed with an "error value = 0 but not finished" error. Had it running for 24 hours before I noticed. It kept restarting the same WU over and over again, failed after an hour and started again. Stupid client! it should really notice an infinite loop like that. So I manually aborted. But same thing happened on the next 4 WUs as well and I just can't babysit R@H. Even reseting the project didn't work. :(

Only strange thing is that my X2 has been running without problems for nearly a week now. :)

Hmm, I have a XP 1900+ and not one - repeat - not one error. Running three projects: Seti, LHC and Rosetta, changing every hour. I wonder if there is some driver which is not so compatible in your system .. :( I had that problem on a laptop, updated the drivers and BOINC became weird, rolled back the video card- and chip driver to older versions, and it worked like a charm again ... not so funny though.

Well, that XP2000+ is a pure cruncher, with a very slim WinXP and no additional software besides the essential ones (directx, java, ...) and all drivers are "new" which means about 2 or 3 years old because the hardware is that old.

Hmmm, thats no fun. Could it be some Windows "security" update which has caused something to run wrong? BTW, what happens if you run BOINC without the manager?

Welll ... I actually can run BOINC without the manager? You mean kill the task?

Strange enough, after I reset the XP2000+ and did FaD for half a day and then tried R@H again --> it works! Has been running for the last 12 hours now and no problems.

That's just weird, isn't it?!

LOL I'm such a lamer, in the Top 30 for 2+ weeks and still no UOTD :(

Must be that ugly picture up on my profile page. Maybe if I replace it with some cute cartoon characters or a baby I'll get nominated :p
