I fail to see how any sort of mathematical operation needs to be done here. It's obvious without calculating anything that it's a little over a buck a person. There's almost as many people as dollars so that's, you know, a red flag that $1 million per person made be just a tad off. One could be forgiven for not knowing that exact amount $1.53 but these journalists accepted a claim without giving even a superficial look at the numbers.

Joe doesn't need to be the sharpest tack in the box to put together & inspire a team to run the country rather than burning it down. They won't have to devote much time to lying to covering his ass or shredding the departments they lead as a matter of policy. We probably won't be getting dozens of delusion inspiring tweets a day, either. He won't be micromanaging for the sake of political points. It's not like he's dangerously deranged in the first place.

Want a govt that actually works? Hire Democrats. We have people for that who aren't just GOP yes men & sycophants.

Depends on whether it comes across as "I'm an older guy and tired from travelling across the country campaigning" which can be overlooked, or if it comes across as full-blown "Onion Belt" dementia.

It doesn't matter with Trump, people expect it from him like it's a Feature. Back in 2016, he and Hillary were the 2 most unpopular Presidential Candidates in US History. He being the Washington Outsider helped a lot to make a difference.

Trump's issues manifest differently, he doesn't stop talking and doesn't appear confused. Biden just fades out mid-sentence and does appear confused.
