you are pathetic. You know damn well that's not how you would act if it was the other way around.

Wait, what? GPU-PhysX is much faster than the CPU-PhysX.

The difference is: You need the tools and a much better developing process to get these effects.

So why would i cheer for a new API when it only give me more performance but no better effects?

I'm not going to tolerate any thread derailing from you today. One day vacation.

I was referring to the fact that you consider that better than an API just because AMD has that and Nvidia doesn't.

But NV didn't invent it, so it can't be good. He loves PhysX so much, that he would take more effects over performance. I bet if AMD released a GPU 10x faster for half the price, he would still buy a $1000 Titan 7 card.

if PhysX was so awesome, why do consoles not use it? If it was so imperative to achieve a satisfying gaming experience, all 3 of next gen consoles would be powered by an NV GPU, and yet none is.

Here is some food for thought: When NV offers superior performance/$ , a PC gamer can buy it and re/play all those games with PhysX.

I just tuned in to see that the video is blanked out. What is being shown? Oh I see it's Watch Dogs, odd they have the video blocked.

Watch Dogs, I think. I'm assuming the developer doesn't want us to see it because it's Colonial Marines 2.0 and they want to maintain the hypetrain until launch so they can yolk suckers.

Yeah they said a few minutes ago no pictures/video for Watch Dogs or Assassins Creed. Blah I shut it off.

Who needs pictures/video of Assassin's Creed. We've seen it seemingly 8 times already.

I'm worried about Watch Dogs now. The delay and not allowing any video of the game leads me to believe that they don't have a quality product at the moment. The hype for that game was so huge it's pretty sad to see it delayed.

That was super exciting for PC specific features nvidia brought to AssCreed.

MSAA
Shadows (look nearly identical to console version)
TXAA
4K res.

Earth shattering. I don't blame nvidia, devs need to push for more than that paltry list.

So, the Nvidia marketing guy ended the stream saying that they are going to announce something surprising and 'perhaps' unexpected tomorrow that is going to be unprecedented/revolutionary (I think that is the word he used, or something like that) in 'game' tech...

Hmm, they are just teasing us. 😀

What are you guys betting on?

I'm telling you guys, it's going to be a VR headset 😉

A $400 rebate on every Titan sold and $150 on the 780 :awe:

My guess: VR glasses that plug into their Shield handheld. They need to move more Tegra 4s to keep their name present in that market sector for their upcoming Logan SoC.

VR that requires CUDA graphics to work? That would be bad. I missed the "announcement of the announcement" because of the blank screen nonsense.
