Since they're going to be losing the performance crown, maybe they can at least have a better livestream than the trainwreck AMD produced.

dropping the 770 to 300$ won't ever happen. it would mean nVidia and AMD would both have 300$ cards that perform the same and nVidia is hard at work on the "premium" perception as a brand so they will always strive to release a card that's slightly mroe powerful and slightly more expensive.

30% is not slightly in anyway

At least they got a marketing guy that can talk on stage <.<

No clue why the AMD/ATi one didn't know how to talk on stage.

Lol Watch Dogs, didn't they get the memo?

Don't expect any big hardware news today btw.

No one told me this would be a game dev conference o.o

This is cooler than I expected.

This is boring... They talk about how they emulate Logan with 2x titan cards and i7-4770k cpu...

No wonder 1900 people are watching the stream...

I like games :D.

I like knowledge :D.

I like knowing what the buzzwords mean :D.

I liked the Battlefield 3 technical walk-through that was done at launch as well, I'm saddened that there wasn't one for Battlefield 4. I thought that was the plan for the AMD/ATi event but it didn't turn out that way o.o

Considering the subject matter I give it a 5% chance.

there's always tomorrow.

besides with all the talk during AMD's conference about audio, who new they were rebadging, I mean releasing new cards ;)

I really do hope we get some new cards sometime soon whether it be AMD or Nvidia (hopefully both ).

These demos are showing exactly why Mantle or any other low level API is not interesting anymore. Why would i want a little bit more performance when the game still looks fake? When there is no real physics interaction between objects?

And even without an new limited API you can increase performance on hardware with new ways of doing things.

So now performance doesn't matter if it's gained through a new api? Oh wait, it does matter if you do in with a "new way of doing things"? The goalposts are shifting so fast it's hard to follow what you are saying.

Sure. GPU-PhysX giving more performance, too. :\

Definitely looking forward to the new Batman game. Looks bad ass. Couldn't care less about the steaming pile known as TXAA, but I'm probably going to pick up a card for hybrid PhysX if I end up with a 290.
