Sucker Punch movie

I love the title - Sucker Punch. Just has a cool ring to it. Seems to have some BioShock feel to it or at least one of the mechanized units looked like a Big Daddy.

Movie hopefully will be as epic as The Matrix was when it was released. Looks like it will be to my eyes at least. My most waited for movie this year.
 
What I read about it didn't make me want to see it, but to each his (or her) own.

"Trapped in a cruel mental institution for women, Babydoll survives various horrors by reimagining the place as a cabaret where enslaved courtesans dance for scuzzy men. It's from this fantasy world that she hatches an escape plan."

Babydoll's escape fantasy is depicted through action scenes that blend pop tropes like machine-gun-wielding 10-foot tall samurai and zombie German soldiers that ooze steam rather than blood (steam needed to get PG-13 rating).

does look at lot like casshern, however the trailer is not as interesting. given that casshern is an epic let down, i won't be waiting for this one.
 
I will go see this. And, I look forward to dressing up like the blonde chick in the school girl outfit & sword,... for, uhm,... for Halloween.
 
Looks like a big dumb action movie that is just plain loaded with the ass kicking waif trope. I like big dumb action movies and I would enjoy seeing every one of those ladies prancing around in fishnet stockings so I will probably go see this in the theater. Ugh, I hate the theater.
 
I have prescreening tickets for Wednesday night @ 10PM here in Chicago, I am not expecting a lot so I should be able to simply have fun.

After seeing them I am pretty sure Zombie Strippers and Tromeo and Juliette were not screened by critics, they are too awesome for the not so tender mercies of the critics! 🙂

Sorry to rain on your parade, but those weren't actually Malin Ackerman's boobs... they were CG (just like Dr. Manhattan's blue penis).

Watchmen was doomed the moment it ruined Dr. Manhattan's story!
