The man's right! MORE INVESTIGATIONS INTO STEROIDS IN BASEBALL!
Not many are against LEGAL immigration, it's the ILLEGAL immigration that ticks most folks off. Of course, it's obvious that the media and the libs have gotten to you, because you make no distinction in your statement.
Did you listen to his testimony? He addressed that, and I don't need to change my statements to fit it. People are quite often against even legal immigration.
But the point is that all of our ancestors immigrated here in the last few hundred years. We're all originally immigrants and should remember that.

Bullshit. I have never heard anybody in real life or on any forum say they were against LEGAL immigration. Most illegal lovers use that as an excuse to throw out the bigot/racist card.
Lots of what he said would have been funny, on his show. It wasn't the least bit funny in front of congress.
Time and place.
Ask yourself why they are illegal. Listen to his testimony. Colbert's entire testimony was about this topic.
/eyeroll
lol are you serious?
Illegal immigrants exist because we don't legally accept them. We don't legally accept them because we...
The correct answer isn't that we don't need them.
I've said it time and time again... I'm perfectly fine with this slave-esque labor that requires a drop-in-the-bucket investment in exchange for massive productivity. You gonna go out and pick corn?
How much are they paying?
Well if you're a taxpaying American citizen, you'd be subject to at least the federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour. If you're an undocumented alien, well maybe a 20 per 10 hour day and a few bean stalks you picked will be enough compensation.![]()
Don't forget Elmo's testimony to Congress.WTF, this is taking valuable time away from investigating Baseball and steroids or a College Football playoff!
KT
Actually, minimum wage doesn't apply to farm workers.Well if you're a taxpaying American citizen, you'd be subject to at least the federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour. If you're an undocumented alien, well maybe a 20 per 10 hour day and a few bean stalks you picked will be enough compensation.![]()
The following are examples of employees exempt from both the minimum wage and overtime pay requirements:
* Executive, administrative, and professional employees (including teachers and academic administrative personnel in elementary and secondary schools), outside sales employees, and certain skilled computer professionals (as defined in the Department of Labor's regulations) 1
* Employees of certain seasonal amusement or recreational establishments
* Employees of certain small newspapers and switchboard operators of small telephone companies
* Seamen employed on foreign vessels
* Employees engaged in fishing operations
* Employees engaged in newspaper delivery
* Farm workers employed on small farms (i.e., those that used less than 500 "man‑days" of farm labor in any calendar quarter of the preceding calendar year)
* Casual babysitters and persons employed as companions to the elderly or infirm
Don't forget Elmo's testimony to Congress.
Testifying about what? Boobies? :hmm:
KT
Elmo is the only non-human or puppet ever to testify before the U.S. Congress. At the request and with the assistance of Rep. Duke Cunningham, he testified before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services and Education in April 2002, urging support for increased funding in music education.[5]
The mexicans I use are 20 bucks an hour each, cash.
Haha... nothing like being "against" illegal immigrants and then paying them for their labor. You're the problem why they keep coming here. The mexicans I use are 20 bucks an hour each, cash.
