Well if you're a taxpaying American citizen, you'd be subject to at least the federal minimum wage of $7.25 per hour. If you're an undocumented alien, well maybe a 20 per 10 hour day and a few bean stalks you picked will be enough compensation.

Edit: Call me a bad person or whatever, but I seriously can't see how all the conservatives out there get riled up over illegal immigration, when it assists them tremendously by keeping their grocery prices low, the cost (and subsequent quality product gotten) of house-work / manual labor low, and taking the menial jobs that these true patriots are too good to do.

Bring up the fact that they're sucking welfare money, and I'll ask you kindly to provide where they can receive such money when you have to prove citizenship to receive it.

Actually, minimum wage doesn't apply to farm workers.
