If steam's not taking your keys then that kind of answers your question doesn't it?

Steam won't accept keys of old games that were initially non-steam, and then added to steam later... it doesn't work that way. They couldn't exactly figure out every single key from every single retail game they added. Some games are bought retail, but are marked on the box as steam enabled so those would work.
 
Opinions on the Theatre of War games?

I played the Codenamed: Panzers demo a long time ago and enjoyed it. But I never ended up getting the game. Theatre of War looks like a close competitor.

Looking at the Theatre of War details.......doesn't look like you can be U.S. or British units. Wonder what they have against the Yanks or the Brits..........

If you get it, please use the extra 3 dollars and get the pack with DLC. Knights of the nine is a mini-expansion and adds the best questline in the game!

It took a lot of persistance for me to get into the first Stalker, but it was a rewarding experience in the end. Nothing that memorable though. The 2nd and third Stalkers I didn't have the patience for. All the games lack polish and are unfriendly to a new player. The 2nd and third also run like ass on even very beefy systems.

I started Pripyat and it felt similar to the other two games, and it also seems that Crysis runs smoother..I don't have the best system ever, but an i5 750 / 4890 should still play smoothly and it's not as good as I'd like.

Ha, I didn't mean that I didn't have Oblivion. I bought a retail copy when it came out and purchased the steam pack some time back. The leveling system was always the issue for Oblivion in my mind. Its absolutely great if you just like exploring. There was some mod that was released with better textures which was nice as well.

I personally haven't been very interested in the last few days of deals. Hopefully, something will come up in these last two days.

Unless they changed the price of CoH, you're a bit off. The gold pack, which is 7.50, only includes the first 2. The third one is 7.50 by itself.
 
For me there is nothing good today. I either have the game already or discount is not high enough..hehehe...

Anybody know anything about Zeno Clash or Bionic?
 
Zeno Clash was supposed to be pretty good.
Today's deals are rather weak for sure. You think being last day of new deals that they'd be sick selection n discounts.
How does the Half Life 1 pack not include source? Lame.

Bionic Commando: Rearmed is a pretty solid update of the old game. It's pretty fun regardless of if you played the original.

The other Bionic Commando is supposedly pretty awful, so I'd avoid it.

Zeno Clash looks interesting and for the price I couldn't pass it up. I hope they have some more good games on sale for $5 and less. I don't have much time to play games lately, so would like to keep it max $5 per game.
 
Is it me, or was the Half Life 2 complete pack $10, then $6? When I got to checkout I saw $6, guess it changed at the perfect time?

I have it. It's fun and worth 2.50 IMO. There is a beta level editor also. Search the forums on steam for it.
