Anyone playing and enjoying yet?
Take a break after 11 hours of constant playing?

No, I mean we've already waited like 10 years for this and I'm going to be waiting 5 more years for Diablo 3, so I'll be picking up SC2 when I actually have a good chunk of time to play (this weekend)! 😀

You have better willpower than I do! I've already blocked off my calendar and I'll be sprinting for my car as soon as I see that my copy has been delivered at home.

Yeah I've already been bombarded this morning with "Not feeling well, leaving early" emails this morning.

Wonder what it's like in South Korea? Country-wide strike? 🙂

Do you guys save that much money or is it like an deathly allergic reaction to B&M stores?

I preordered mine on April 8th on amazon, i do that because it takes minimal effort and i can simply forget about it for months. Game always shows.

also the closest Game Stop or BB is 45 miles from my house, closest walmart is 30

Oh ok.

The closest Gamestop and Bestbuy are next to my office complex at a huge ass mall in Cambridge. Also, the next closest would be like 1 mile away.

heh i know where you work (area wise)

there is a GS about 5 miles from where i work but its easier to use the internet. I'm generally in no rush to get games. if i wanted something badly enough id go to the store

Closest GS and Walmart are 2 minutes from my house 😉. However, I still order from Amazon 90% of the time because A) I have Prime and B) It'll be sitting at my house when I get home from work.

Can't wait to get home and try it.

Most of us are actually trying to put stores out of business. We dream of a day when everything except fresh groceries are mail ordered and theres so much competition between sellers and shippers that we get awesome competition across the board and prices are always reasonable.

What the hell man, why wouldn't you want fresh groceries delivered to your door?

If I was going to be home all day, I'd most likely buy at a B&M in order to have it to play as soon as I'm awake. But since I work, whats the point of spending the time going the store when it can be waiting for me when I get home.

On top of that, pre-ordering at amazon is so much easier. With prime for me it is literally 1 click and I don't have to worry about it. Don't have to put a down-payment on it either. Not charged till it ships.

I worded it incorrectly. What I meant to say was:

Stores are ONLY used for fresh groceries, everything else is mail order.

In fact I am a little surprised Blizzard didnt force everyone into the 21st century and offer Starcraft 2 as a downloadable title with BattleNET being the storefront.

Amazon Prime FTW!!!

Are you serious. Blizzard is smarter than that. All of their games are playable on like 15 year old hardware to make the most money. Same reason for the hard launch.

wish the digital release was staggered. For instance, just do it at midnight wherever it is.

I just have the feeling in 2 minutes their servers will be overloaded from everyone trying to buy it, but we will see.

Walked into Future Shop before lunch, picked up a couple of copies...and received a free poster/baseball hat

I purchased directly from the battle.net store, and first they put me in this queue:
"You are in line to activate StarCraft II®: Wings of Liberty
Position 42
Estimated Time
24855 days 3 hours 14 minutes"

Luckily, it only took 10 minutes or so.
