Well to be honest I welcome a Special Councel and maybe put an end to all of this crazy one way or another. But talking about the unhinged right ... It is no different than the unhinged left here on this forum and on many other left sites.

If they find guilt let the axe fall where it may. I have a feeling that even if the Special Councel doesn't find anything to prosecute the left will still not accept it... Time will tell.

Are we supposed to accept an incompetent & malevolent charlatan as leader of the Free World?

I am very confident that his staff has attempted to reign in his tweeting many times. He probably actively avoids having people looking over his shoulder while he does it because they keep trying to stop him.
This gave me the visual of a pouty Orange child hunched over his phone in any/every corner of the white house, hissing at any one who approaches. Lol, thank you.

At this point we need to have a special prosecutor to investigate the FBI. The FBI Never tells the truth about anything. Everything they say is that is classified, we dont discuss ongoing investigations, we can not confirm who we are investigating. That is all the senate gets during an investigation.

Assange, traitor to the free world. Damn, to think I admired him at some point... and then he turns out to be just another corruptee that thinks his own ego over democracy, over the rest of us. I hate these fools.

Assange has long been a pariah within Wikileaks. He's actually reviled by everyone at wikileaks, because he is exactly Trump: my ego supersedes whatever our mission ever was. There had been attempts to oust him, iirc, but he controls the keys to the data and the access, more or less. Or something like that.

I guarantee the WH is shitting solid gold bricks over this. I think Rosenstein played them. Explains the strangely worded memo used to fire Comey where he never actually recommended it. He gave the WH the same warning he did the media.

I also think that there is something going on with Dana Boente, the USA for EDVA. Looks like Obama removed him from the AG line of succession as a ruse. He knew Trump would see that as someone Obama didn't like, therefore he should trust. Trump moved him back in after inauguration. That's a problem for Trump, he got played based on his transparent emotional reaction to everything. He only thinks he's smart. Obama actually is.

Funny that you didn't say that when they were investigating Hillary's emails. When they finished is when righties declared the FBI to be the Devil. It's what happens anytime they hear something their delusional minds don't want to hear- discredit the source, assume they know more than anybody else.

Exclusive: Trump campaign had at least 18 undisclosed contacts with Russians - sources

http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...sources/ar-BBBgjYg?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=spartanntp

In January, the Trump White House initially denied any contacts with Russian officials during the 2016 campaign. The White House and advisers to the campaign have since confirmed four meetings between Kislyak and Trump advisers during that time.

In addition to the six phone calls involving Kislyak, the communications described to Reuters involved another 12 calls, emails or text messages between Russian officials or people considered to be close to Putin and Trump campaign advisers.

I don't think the WH knows enough to be terrified. Reportedly Trump hasn't even retained outside legal help yet. Do not underestimate Trump's ability to blunder and bluster his way into even deeper trouble because he doesn't recognize the seriousness of what's happening.

Who wants to bet the investigation finds absolutely nothing, but Trump gets impeached for repeatedly trying to obstruct it?

More fun stuff http://www.cnn.com/2017/05/18/politics/donald-trump-robert-mueller-appointment/

I've known of mueller from long ago but have been refreshing and expanding my knowledge about him. To cut to the chase I would rather have anyone in the world investigating me than Mueller, that is if there was something I did not want revealed. On the other hand he might be the best if I were innocent because he has no interest in them. Few people worry me if I had to confront them as an adversary. Mueller would be one of the top to avoid.

Knowing how Trump likes to crush resistance, I think our President will find that to be an outstandingly bad way to approach Mueller.

You can't possibly be this ignorant. First of all, what you're describing is what the public hears in open hearings. There are closed door hearings where the FBI briefs the committee on confidential and sensitive information. Often they occur immediately after the public hearing. You're complaining that they won't discuss in public the details of an ongoing investigation? You've got to be kidding me. I can't even be bothered to explain why the FBI will not do this. It should be obvious to a 12 year old.

Yeah, he and Comey are some part Eliot Ness, some part arch-angel Gabriel. They see themselves as the bringer(s) of justice. Might seem a bit pompous from the outside, but no way I'd want either after me. They're smarter than you, they know it, and they won't give up. Comey has already shown a bit of this with the memo, and I'm sure there are more of his "dead man's switches" that will come out. Can't wait to see Mueller's.

Something to consider about this development. A special prosecutor can in some ways help Trump from what was a shitstorm of public controversy, particularly something that stands to be truly damning to him; Comey publicly testifying. Which, if he confirmed the memos publicly, would have the ex FBI head fired by Trump, publicly branding Trump as a liar. That doesn't seem like that big a deal to anyone with a pair of ears and eyes, Trump is a brazen liar who constantly spews fallacies. But the impact of that sort of public testimony would be very damaging to Trump, as well as whatever other revelations Comey could bring forward.

This Graham fellow is saying this is now a criminal investigation : https://www.washingtonpost.com/vide...a10d5a-3bff-11e7-a59b-26e0451a96fd_video.html

If he is correct a criminal investigation, means as he states, that those who are potentially going to face charges have a right to not self-incriminate. It also means someone like Comey who could be used as a witness, may not be wanted to testify publicly because of that.

So this may help Trump in terms of the constant bad publicity, particularly in that it insulates him, if Comey does not now testify publicly, from the PR disaster of Comey's testimony putting Trump on record as a liar. As well, they may now deflect each and every question by saying there is an ongoing criminal investigation and they don't want to comment. Another thing, is if this prosecutor is focused on criminal activity, it may allow the focus on any other activity that is not criminal but grossly unethical, to slip to the wayside.

This is an interesting read and lends some thought to how he could possibly benefit from this: https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2017/05/a-special-prosecutor-is-not-the-answer/526662/

How many seconds under oath before Trump perjures himself?

Morbo: Morbo demands an answer to the following question: If you saw delicious candy in the hands of a small child would you seize and consume it?
Johnson: Unthinkable.
Jackson: I wouldn't think of it.
Morbo: What about you, Mr. Nixon? I remind you, you are under a truth-o-scope.
[The truth-o-scope hovers over Nixon's head and he starts to sweat.]
Nixon: Uh, well, I, uh ... the question is-is vague. You don't say what kind of candy, whether anyone is watching or, uh... [He clears his throat.] At any rate, I certainly wouldn't harm the child.
[The truth-o-scope beeps.]
