Something to worry about, if Obama gets elected.

When you look at Past President Clinton, the wife of the president does get heavily involved in our country.

Look at the difference between Cindy McCain and Michelle Obama.

Cindy

Michelle

I can see that Cindy is very compassionate for less fortunate (for all race).
Michelle, granted is very intelligent, but has done very little. But the little she has done was only for her race.

From my personal experience, most of African Americans have the mentality that "It's us vs them" (blacks vs whites)

I personally think Barack Obama will be a good president. I don't think he will have any problems, but I worry about his wife. I gotta feeling that if Obama gets elected, Michelle will be very vocal (preference over African American over whites)"

As a President of United States, I believe that the President and the wife should govern the country as a whole. But deep inside, I don't see that with Michelle.

*****************
Update:

When you vote for President, you are also voting for the first wife.. It's a package deal. If you don't agree with my thoughts, just post your reason. You don't ahve to bash.

Lonyo, thanks for your input. You are correct that Cindy did have more time. Cindy was born rich.

I just hope that if Barack does get elected, Michelle see the responsibilities as a Presidents wife and treat all race as equal.

Funny I believe the President should do his duties as outlined in the Constitution and I don't see any duties defined in there for the Presidents spouse so no matter who is elected the spouse should have no role in governing the country.

I like how a single spoken sentence and some photos of her frowning have turned Michelle Obama into some kind of venomous harpy.

Did you actually read the links you posted? I'm no big fan of either, but only one contains governmental corruption, theft, and drug addiction. Who you gonna trust again?

Well, I'm going to make 2 points, as an outsider (non-US person).

1) Cindy McCain has 10 years on Michelle Obama. That means she's had 10 more years in which to do things.
2) Cindy was born rich, which means (I expect) that she was also able to do things from an earlier age.

Cindy was setting up an organisation in 1988 related to medical help.
Michelle graduated from law school in 1988.

Of course Michelle Obama hasn't done a huge amount (compared to McCain) when you consider their circumstances. Yes, she probably could have done more, but she has had less time and had a more difficult path to get to where she is as well, which makes it a little hard to do a direct comparison between the two.

From my personal experience, that's about as racist as you can get.

Not really, it's an incorrect overgeneralization. It doesn't imply that blacks are inferior to whites. As for "as racist as you can get", I think putting on a white hood and chanting "death to darkies" would beat the above by a little on the racism continuum.

I said "racist," not violent. His "overgeneralization" about "most of African Americans" could only be broader if he changed the word, "most" to "all," and it is definitely racist bigotry, regardless of how he decides to act on that generalized belief.

If the First Lady was an important cnsideration, Kucinich would win in a landslide.
