CaptCaveman actually put it pretty well. You know exactly what you're going to get when you click on a religion thread here... just don't click. The absolute reality is that lots of people here are loudly agnostic/atheist and just wait for the opportunity to shout at people whose views differ.

I've seen some rational discussion here over the years, even in a couple of religion threads (for a short time, anyway).

I hate this place. At least the OT section. The only reason I post here is because the root domain is fairly innocuous and it passes the time when I've got nothing going at work. People are mean. Hurtful, negative, arrogant; some of the worst qualities I can imagine in anyone I read in posts here on a daily basis.
