the issue at hand is, Q received his package, not only did he receive it but externally the scanner was in good shape. so Q's post about packaging etc are also irrelevant.

however, the scanner doesn't work, TFinch shipped a working scanner and it stopped working, does this sh1t happen? YES. again, up to this point there is nothing that should generate ill will.

TFinch then PM's Q FIRST, asking whether the scanner was in good shape or not. hmmmm. why would he do this if he KNEW THE SCANNER WAS BAD. OH YA, HE WOULDN'T.

again, up to this point 99% of traders would say nothing happened that couldn't be resolved peacefully.

upon receiving this PM Q goes to test the scanner and VOILA the damn thing doesn't work.

here is where it gets really really stupid. from the moment TFINCH PM'd Q, Q gives him less than 2 hours to decide that HMMMM this guy is avoiding me.


THERE IS NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO JUSTIFY THIS SUSPICION LET ALONE TO ACT ON IT.

and that's why 99% of ATers are telling Q to chill. did TFinch overreact to the Negative Q gave him, yes, but that in NO WAY JUSTIFIES Q's ridiculous action.

Do you not see how he is wrong in this case? All this bickering and arguing stemmed from him being impatient about getting a response from tfinch. It was and is clearly unreasonable for him to expect such quick responses through PM. PM's do not equal IM's. Also, if you think that he had reason to believe he was being avoided, then you and him need to learn about giving the "benefit of the doubt".

This whole thread got ugly b/c Quarsky kept denying he did anything wrong.

Perhaps this thing should have been dropped many posts ago, but the fact still remains that Quarsky is in the wrong here. If you can't see that, then you're not a very good trader either.

No one ever said Q couldn't be away. The fact is that Q tried to pass it off as though he didn't receive it until the 30th and made no intial mention of being away and not in position to receive it previously. He only mentioned, as per his own feedback, that he was way for New Years and that prevented him from testing until now. Taken directly from his own first post:

That is misinformation and misrepresentation of the facts since TF has proof that delivery was first attempted on the 27th. Therefore, the comments are ill-deserved. I'd be pretty pissed (and although I have done no trading on AT, I have plenty of online experience at Ebay and with other forum groups).

I am also non-affliated with either party nor do I know anyone on these boards. Q's arguement and your attempts at bollstering it are full of holes.
