Hi-Power is great bang for the buck when I last was in the market. They make some nice .22 target pistols olympians practice with. BTW, that is one sweet weapon.(P232)

Are you sure your not thinking of HI-Point, a Hi-Power is a type of handgun made by Browning, I actually have a knock off but it uses the same parts.

way I figure, if someone comes up to mug you, your more likely to get hurt if you pull a weapon than if you just hand over your wallet (this, of course, is why I always carry two wallets with me in the ghetto. one with $100 in cash, some cancelled credit cards, and my fake ID from my younger days, and my real one, which I'll keep in one of the cargo pants pockets or something).

Hand them your wallet. When they turn to run off, pull out your weapon and shoot them. Obviously it would not be the best situation to attempt to draw your weapon while someone already had theirs pointed at you.

That is completely against the law and you would be prosecuted.

I love it when people see a post, think they're hot sh!t, throw down a post, and don't read the rest of the thread.

It's already been discussed, this is legal in Texas, and many other states.
do you understand what re itteration is? That is what I was doing to the point the other post made. I reitterated it to back him up. I love when people don't comprehend the use of the language they speak, real good job there bud

Sheesh.

Edit: Are the credit cards with $0 liability and $20 bucks in cash really worth a human life? Simple calculus here.

apparently a lot of people here think they are. A lot of people just do a lot of talking in general. Most people would just be too scared and not do anything when the situation came to hand (a mugging for instance). It seems like there are a lot of people who are scared here and I don't know why

My bad, you're right I was thinking of HI-Point. It's been awhile since I looked into getting a handgun.

Over your head. I apologize.

How about, monday morning quarterback?

I don't follow football, sorry. It was a joke, I'm familiar with the term phrase "armchair xxxxx."

You're just lame is all.

Glock 29 10mm with 20 rounds of DoubleTap 155gr Speer GoldDots. It goes everywhere I go and it goes un-noticed everywhere I go. You neve know when you'll need it, but you'll be glad it's there when you do need it instead of wishing you had it.

I carry a dull pocketknife at all times. When I am hiking, I carry a canister of bear spray. Generally speaking, I don't fear bears, but I do fear the idiots I might encounter in the backwoods. The spray is formulated to deter a kodiak, so I figure it will probably make a person highly regret they ever made me feel threatened.

In Chicago I think the CPD are legally allowed to beat you if you carry anything more dangerous than a potato peeler, so nothing.

I carry a medium sized pocket knife most of the time, one of my hobbies is sharpening it when I'm bored or waiting for something, so it's pretty razor sharp most of the time...

Plus I instruct kenpo karate at a local studio, if that counts

Guns are illegal in Chicago, more or less.
