Nothing. Gun licenses are issued in Texas but I am not a paranoid sucker who thinks someone is out to kill me.

I have a conceal firearm license, but I don't carry my 9mm everywhere I go. I also a practitioner of Brazilian Jujitsu. Anyway, I carry throwing knives for my self-defense.

where do you live? throwing knives are pretty much illegal everywhere, along with butterfly knives.

I'm from Utah. People in Utah LOVE our guns. I mean, you can buy a semi-auto rifle if you are 18 and with clean background. You have to be 21 and clean background to have a concealed weapon permit. Throwing knives and stars are NOT illegal over here.

I live in a very safe neighborhood and I can open my doors all day long and nobody will bother me. I think i'm just being crazy.

Nothing really.

I have a pocket knife with a 2" blade that I usually carry for miscellaneous chores, not really for self defense.

I studied hapkido for years along with other "self defense" classes. i carry a small knife (but lets be real there is no way to get it out in a emergency). In a 1-1 situation i am think i can handle myself.

In my car i have a 16 inch bat (souvenir from a cubs game) i also have a club attached to the trunk (inside).

My wife while has martial arts training carries some pepper spray a friend who is a cop got her and thinking of getting her a tazer gun.

For the home i have a real bat. While i do have a old shotgun i feel the bat would be better in a home invasion. I could still beat the fvuck out of them and less chance of getting charged with something. also as i said its a OLD shotgun. I need/want to get something for the home. Hoping to buy a used gun for the house.

I also want to get my wife used to shooting.

While we live in a LOW crime area the closest neighbor is like a 1/2 a mile away. We need to be able to protect ourselves.

Besides martial arts training I also carry a 3" folding knife that I can open extremely quickly one handed (look into Benchmade's if you are interested) that is clipped to the inside of a pocket (so I don't have to dig around for it). Mostly I use it for pocket knife chores, but it's very sharp and would ruin your whole day.

Nothing. If I really felt like I needed something because I lived in a bad area I'd move. Not that I'm never likely to run into it, but I don't expect to.

wtf is everyone so scared of. I can understand if you live in a dangerous area but otherwise I don't get it. Anyway, I carry nothing.

It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

There have been threats against my extended family more than once, business related. If my state had a concealed carry law, I would have a permit.

Oh, I see you must have missed that I implied that people who need it should carry it. Those who shouldn't really don't need to. Why not carry a guy or concealed weapon? They just seem to inflame a situation that could have ended peacefully

I don't live in a dangerous area, far from it.

Well it must suck going through your life being so scared that you have to carry a weapon everyday to feel safe.
