It was a lady. she said she was from the FBI and flashed her badge.
One of my neighbors works for the CIA. He's upgrading his clearance, and she's doing the background checks.
She's interviewing everyone on my block.
my neighbor moved in 6 months ago. the only thing i know about him is his name.
so basically i said i had no info on him. she thnaked me for my yime and left.
the funny thing is that when u flash a badge, you dont see enuf to actually tell if she's who she says she is.
she could have been a PI working for someone sueing him for all i know...
makes me want to ask to see the badge for a longer perioid of time, if there's a next time.

He told you he works for the CIA?
yes. when he moved in i introduced myself and made a little chit chat.
thus why i assumed she's who she said she is when she bought up the fact he's in the CIA.
UTmtnbiker- yeah, i have no idea what a real FBI ID looks like.
MaxDepth- no skirt and 3" heels. pants and a jacket. i'm assuming her gun in underneath the jacket since ALL fbi field agents are required to have a gun.

yeah i had that happen to me too when one of my co-workers applied for a permanent visa. the guy came in, (had the courtesy to leave his gun in his car there was a holster but no gun in it) showed me NO ID just said he was from the FBI and was wanting to know more about my co-worker, i told him everything he wanted to know we chatted a bit more about just stuff and left saying he would be back later to talk to my boss, he did come back a week later, again no gun, no badge, but the fact he knew my co-workers name (hard to say/spell) and that she was applying for a visa was proof enough he worked for a government agency. (my co-worker is anti-social so nobody knows her other than her co-workers/boss)

I thought that for the FBI, leaving their gun behind was a no-no.
