Corporations are patient. I'm sure they'll eventually get the courts to reverse that decision and even make it legal for them to demand you provide video of your entire life. After all, the only thing stranger then quantum mechanics is corporate law.

Perhaps I should incorporate as the religion of the almighty corporation....

This is a good thing. I always thought how it was so horrible that just beside one of the major entrances into our hospital, from at least before sunup till after sundown, there would be nurses, and techs, and cleaners, sitting there smoking, right in front of patients. It's basically impossible for people to get in during the day without walking through a foul-smelling smog of tobacco smoke. And yet we preach to everyone in the hospital when they're getting care that quitting smoking is the biggest single change they can do to improve their health.

Good rule. Smokers waste a lot of time, well, smoking throughout the day. Not to mention if they don't even care about their bodies how can they care about your bottom line?

Here in Canada we are not allowed to smoke outside any entrances, it must be off to the side of the building

In Michigan you have to be 100' from the building to smoke.Thre are smoking areas that are well away from all the crybabies and reformed smokers and Drinkers tha sit around tell now tell you the ills of SMOKING.

You wonder why People can't find work or have given up looking for work. Would you want to work for someone like ZEBO? Who sits on the WHITE COLLAR ASS and control the lives of their employees?

Where can they legally smoke nowadays anyway? Especially in places with outdoor smoking bans?

Seems like the business has to setup a smoking lounge or something, but wouldn't the smoke get out and risk making the company liable for second hand smoke damages?

Most offices do have designated areas, or they save you have to be a certain distance from the building.

I worked at a pharmaceutical company which completely banned smoking on company property. The site was set in about 1/4 mile from the main road so they effectively stopped people from smoking at all during business hours except during lunch. Their argument wasn't about time being wasted but about health. They felt given that their primary business was cancer treatment drugs it was inappropriate to have people smoking on site.
